It's Quiet the £250m return

So from the looks of it -
Costa Rudolph looks like straight forward deal
MGW may take some time
Nouri from Wolves maybe straight forward too. We have a decent relationship with them
Livremento may take the entire summer as newcastle will be resistant
Cherki looks straight forward if city want
and don't forget Rodrygo if he decides to leave

Not convinced by either, to be fair. As you pointed out yesterday, the age of pressing the City goalkeeper is now well and truly at an end and, bearing that in mind, we need to get the best shot stopper we can find. I can happily live without Eddie’s 2 assists a season if we can keep a few more clean sheets and that all stems from having a proper keeper.
Tbh you need that more in the UCL not the league. Those defining moments to hold on in the KO rounds. But against Brentford and Arsenal we need someone decent with their feet

All about opinions. I think Doku has been one of our few highlights this season and was crucial in the last few months.

He needs more than Haaland hanging out of the six yard box for a pull back.

City need midfielders arriving into the box and we are going to get them.

I initially really liked Savinho, his ball manipulation is fantastic, but his work ethic in games when covering his full-back has been an utter disgrace.

His performance away at Spurs and also at Wembley had team-mates screaming at him.

I expect Doku and Savinho to come very good.
Yep. Doku is an amazing talent. Literally no player in world football like him. The "tactico" pages on X seem to love him as well. Every top team in the world would take Doku. Having a lad that you can sub on and know he's going to have the beatings of his man and create chaos is extremely valuable. And I think he's been showing better decision making as of late. Still a young lad. No way we entertain him leaving IMO.

If he was playing at Real Madrid or Bayern right now, we would be demanding to sign him.

He's stepped up in recent weeks and his defensive work has improved off the scale.

I wonder if we would contemplate a loan for Savio.

We don’t normally do this sort of thing unless we are trying to ship the player off, which in this case we shouldn’t at all.

i don’t have your confidence in Savinho or Doku, particularly Savinho but let’s hope they come good. For me they both need to getting at least 20 goals and assists each in all competitions next season!!

But for me Haaland has been told (I assume) to make one run and that is to the back post for the cross to be stood up to him. With both wingers playing on their unnatural side I think it asks a lot for them to play a perfect cross with their weaker foot floated to the back post. The other option being to cut back and use their stronger foot allowing defenders more time to get into position.

That’s what I find so weird about this season is little things like that that to me seem like a quick fix but we don’t do it.

Then again I am not a world renowned coach so it could be that I am just know nowt idiot you never know!!

Lazier than others, let's say!
Grealish, Foden, Haaland? Some have the engine to get up and down the park and press consistently (Reijnders), others do not (Cherki).

For what it's worth, precious little, the French papers still appear to have Dortmund as front runners. They had a deal in place and Cherki wanted to go in January, but it was low and left OL insufficient time to find a replacement. Wouldn't be surprised if the news is OL just trying to drive his price up.

Wolves having financial difficulties just saw a few tweeting that they expect a fire sale this summer.

Doku is 23 and Saviniho is 21, both still very young and both have potential to get much better. To judge them at these ages when both have such huge potential is premature imho.
