Would be more than 30m surely?Would be incredible business. Add Nouri as well for £30m and we have spent just £10m more than the entire cost of Wirtz.

not sure I like were you're coming fromI wonder what costa thinks about the fact that he isn’t even the first choice but I think he is overrated anyways
Who do City think they are going for Cherki? Do we have a child in charge of the transfers? Are we playing FIFA?Dream signings? Well I think we need
2 full backs
Frimpong
Theo Hernandez
At least 2 midfielders. So of these 3.
Wirtz
Tchouaméni
Cherki
I also think we need at least 1 winger. Either:
Rodrygo
Leao
Would be more than 30m surely?
Doesn't have have a release clause?Grealish, Foden, Haaland? Some have the engine to get up and down the park and press consistently (Reijnders), others do not (Cherki).
For what it's worth, precious little, the French papers still appear to have Dortmund as front runners. They had a deal in place and Cherki wanted to go in January, but it was low and left OL insufficient time to find a replacement. Wouldn't be surprised if the news is OL just trying to drive his price up.
I'm off to Costco soon. Hurry up, City!
Wolves having financial difficulties just saw a few tweeting that they expect a fire sale this summer.
very good player and before we signed marmoush I thought would be a very good signing because of his ability to play across the front 3. Now I don't think we have a burning platform for another wide player due to marmoush, Bobb coming back and better midfielders breaking the line and hence facilitating more room for existing wide playersI have zero knowledge of any deal set up for Rodrygo, don't know where the certainty has come from in some quarters?
It could be one of those deals willed into existence because the player and his agent now do all the running but not something City have driven.

And for those exact reasons, khus was massive. He came in and did much better than any of us imagined especially after that chelsea game. The problem before January was that there was only one centre half fit most of the time other than the first few games of Khus's stay there was then two to three fit.
Guardiola was always going to prefer someone who understands his system, can speak English so will communicate well over a young new arrival at the back.
He regularly takes a long time to integrate hew players
Nobody who has not been watching training regularly has a clue whether the money spent in January is good or bad.
From the very small glimpses we have seen of them there is nothing to suggest it has been poorly spent but we really can't know.
Didnt except it to be that low!!Suggestions a fee of £35m will be enough.
Somewhere between 20-25 million GBP, but even based on that, from what I read, Dortmund's offer was at the lowest end of the scale.Doesn't have have a release clause?
Mate, everyone knows exactly what you meant. When we discuss professional sports players we are not comparing them to your average human, we are comparing them to their contemporaries. Of course they all worked hard to get there but he quite clearly doesn't work as hard as his other professional athletes on the pitch and he doesn't have to a lot of the time because he's simply better but to accommodate that at city's level, they better be messi and Ronaldo levels of production or bare minimum salah/haaland.Lazier than others, let's say!
worth it if they cover thatEverton would take Stones on loan for his final year.
it would be a very good move for all, Stones doesn't need to move, plays when he can, Everton have little risk only covering salary and we have an excess of CHsI assume they would cover that?
The most similar player to Wirtz statistically
At the price he is minimal risk though. If pep got cherki working hard then pep will get a statue in every corner. Cherkis talent with a mad man's mentality would grant us a bonafide superstar for a decade but I just don't see that happening. He'll revert a lot and would be a bit part player who will still be good but not elite and pep will eventually get annoyed at him.
Ye that's fairAt the price he is minimal risk though.
If we signed him and he was crap, I'm sure we could still sell him at a profit
