yeah heard he can be a bit lazy at times......

Again this is so anti Pep....

However he also looks very exciting, amazing close control and strength on the ball....Maybe Pep could change his work rate.
yeah, Blanc and Fonseca seem to have no problem with it. Maybe just let him ball for 75-80 mins then get him off for a grafter to close up. lol.

Given his stats, its crazy how low he is going for.

Im quite confused why say Madrid havent gone for him, I suspect alot of clubs will probably try to go for him this summer, theres no way everyone just letw City get him for peanuts.

I had him in my FM21 team as a wonderkid. He demanded to be sold after just one season. He then rejected every offer that came in. Went on to stay for another season and probably blamed me for not being sold, and then wrecked the morale of my whole team. So this transfer is a no from me ;)

Never seen him play. My concern, based on the price, is that City's strategy still seems to be shopping in the yellow sticker fridges!

Hey, I do it too -- and I eat a better diet than 99% of people!!

But, for a club aiming to be cream of the crop, it strikes me as a risky strategy...

The market is more complicated than a shopping aisle, I know. And I know nothing about Cherki. It's just my intuitive feeling...
This is not a yellow sticker player... He would go for 60-70 Million easily. The only reason the price is so low is because of the release clause.

He needs to take an axe to fit Reijnders, and Ait nouri and possibly a right back. at least 2 of our midfield would need to go in addition to KDB , even if they agree to go not sure who goes to another midfielder. He can axe all he likes if they say they are staying then they are staying.
That might change once they're told they won't be registered for the two main competitions.

People might focus on the fancy flicks and controls, but the bit that caught my eye was when he paused play and came back to recycle possession. In an instant, he could see the bigger picture and knew England held the advantage so better to go back and retain possession. That's the kind of thing Guardiola appreciates.

Man has pure authority. Knows he’s the bollocks. Would be a joy to watch.

For the asking price we should be biting their hand off.

Stopped reading after that. Grow up and come to the real world.

Lyon has raised their asking price for Cherki, now to 40 million euros

It was meant as a joke. I didn’t think anybody on here would take my story about my fm save from five years ago as a serious in depth analysis on whether we should buy him or not. The smiley at the end of my post was another clue about the joke.

GK (2): Ederson, Ortega
DF (4): Dias, Akanji, Gvardiol Nunes
CM(5): Rodri, Nico, Kovacklic, Bernardo, Gundogan
AT (3): Haaland, Marmoush, Doku

U21: Khusanov, Savinho, Reis, Echeverri,

Don't think Khusanov or Savinho need registering as they were born after Jan 2004, if so we currently have 14/17 spots for our non-HG quota, not excluding Cancelo, Perrone or other loanees (16 if Savinho/Khusanov require registering)

Carson, Ake, Stones, McAtee, Bobb, Foden, Grealish

U21: Lewis, O'Reilly

So 7/8 for our HG quota ignoring Walker & Phillips on loan

So technically, without having to bring out the axe we can add 4 players to this squad, 1 HG and 3 non-HG

And let's be real, I'd be very surprised if we didn't see at the bare minimum 3 of those players I listed gone

CL doesn't have an U21 rule, all four on that list would need to be in the NON HG if they go in. None are eligible for the B list either.

For what it's with, this seems a pretty low risk move that moves a lot of sense

One of the best young talents in Europe, who has shown quality in the final 3rd, and is versatile like Pep loves, for not a lot of money so we can put more money into other areas (like finding the money for Livramento)

And you know if it doenst work out and he struggles he'd probably net us some profit when we sell him

I quite like this move, like his arrogance we need someone with a bit of fire as alot fo those who've been here for years seem to have lost thay fire
