Drunk man denied boarding on Easyjet flight at Manchester Airport

It happens more often than you think
My niece works as cabin crew for easyjet and she's always relaying tales of drunk passengers consuming their own alcohol and vaping

My nephew works for jet2 cabin crew and before that on check in, some of the things he's told us.
A lot of the pissed up stories are mostly with middle and elderly aged people causing trouble.

My partner is cabin crew for TUI and she says that they regularly have people smoking in the toilet....and putting the cigs in the paper bin after!! Fucking ignorant/clueless some people.
I feel for all cabin crew in this situation. Compared to traincrew they cant boot anyone off when they reach altitude.

There needs to be stronger penalties applied like high fines and passports withdrawn. Is it a UK culture issue? I've travelled on various airlines between various countries but only realised the cuntiness on UK holiday flights.

Video's do pop up showing bad behaviour on other nationalities flights from time to time, particularly in America.

There's a sizeable substrata of our society who wear it as a badge of honour to go against what they are advised or told to do- even or especially when its obviously for the benefit of other people and society as a whole.

Definitely a UK issue. In Asia, plenty of people get shitfaced and I've never seen a fish fight happen as a result. This relationship between alcohol and aggression is definitely a North European thing.

Anyway, well done to the staff member who punched him. I feel like society would be better if mouthy twats got punched more often. But it probably wouldn't.

I did enjoy the one recently of the tourist in Thailand getting decked.

But yeah, that's what happens in SE Asia. If you do something like this, it won't be one person who takes you on, be prepared to get beaten up by about 10 people often with weapons. It has a remarkable effect in terms of making sure everyone is polite.

I'd imagine ever single bouncer on that strip is trained in Muay Thai, what a dickhead. Should have shoved a gram in his pocket and rang the police.

My mrs is Thai, been there 20 to 30 times.

Never ever try to show a Thai up in public in Thailand, even if you're in the right you will get kicked to fuck, and I mean kicked to fk.
Seen it happen so many times over there.

I work the ramp at Manchester Airport.
Believe me,this shit happens 10 - 15 times a day on low cost airlines.
It is genuinely nothing out of the ordinary.

Sad that someone has got so pissed in an airport that they can't get on the flight. Sad that his response is to react with aggression. Sad that someone else has filmed this incident and put it online, which no ordinary person deserves.

Lots of the worst aspects of humanity on display here.

Jeez. Where's security ? I'd like to see his passport confiscated. Hope he's proud of himself but don't suppose he'll see anything wrong with his own behaviour. He's probs back in 'Spoons getting twatted.

Covid didnt help. People got used to thinking that rules are to be ignored
Some people never grew past being a teenager. I sort of understood people who had misgivings about a new vaccine, but the whole refusing to wear a mask thing was one of the most pathetic things I've ever seen. Literally like a teenage boy refusing to take his cap off at a funeral or something.

I’ve got to say if that twat came at me like that he’s going to sleep,I think it’s about time people got breathalyzed before getting on the plane its out of Control.

He shit himself when the hi vis guy went at him lol
