It's Quiet the £250m return

I really can't see us letting O'Reilly go out on loan, he made a big difference when introduced into the team last season, and is pretty versatile.
There is zero chance he goes on loan, that’s the most hilarious thing I’ve read on here today amid some very strong competition. In fact we’re trying to get him to sign an extension with Chelsea and others sniffing

I see Simpson Pusey has been seemingly running his mouth
I thought it was obvious he would leave this summer with him being 8th in the pecking order at the moment. Most of the kids in our academy aren’t bothered that they won’t make the team but just go our academy because it’s one of the best in the country where they can develop.

There’s a player who came on in a champions league match for us.

He went on loan to Middlesbrough. Now he can’t get into Stockport County’s team.

Not sure if saying he wants to play first-team football next season constitutes "running his mouth"
I can't either

From BBC website

Manchester City's Premier League 2 winning captain Jahmai Simpson-Pusey has kept his options open for next season as he wants to "play first-team football".

Simpson-Pusey, 19, led City to a record fourth title in the competition and also became the first defender to claim the PL2 player of the season award.

City's injury crisis allowed Simpson-Pusey to break into the first team this season, making six appearances in the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup and Carabao Cup.

Now he feels he has completed his business at academy level, saying: "I feel like I've done what I've needed to do with the under-21s. I just want to play first team football."

Asked if it would be at another club, Simpson-Pusey told BBC Sport: "I guess we'll see [what happens]. That's not on my mind yet. I'm definitely ready.

"I've not spoken to anyone about it. I'm sure some people will feel the same, especially after winning the league."

Sorry to be going off topic but a fella would be thinking if our dear friends from Trafford apparently aren't even inquiring about Costa... (with Onana reportedly getting the road + Amorim having just come from the same league as Costa)... ieither City's people are grossly overestimating Costa's abilities or it could be a sign that United's financial troubles are definitely hampering their rebuilding.
Or he’s just a top international keeper who wouldn’t lower himself to their level

Wish him the best of luck wherever he goes.
Sometimes it's best all round - he needs first team football (which I respect) and he's not getting it with us next season.
Sell, sell on and buy back clauses. Part of our business model these days

Simpson-Pusey needs, and is capable of, regular first team football. Unlikely to get enough time here so obviously a loan if not a permanent move.
Important that he moves out to allow others to move up such as Mfumi and Noble. Max Alleyne is in the same position.
