But, almost all the players they got wrong were suspect for many fans long before they got here.So a max of 4 players and one who had a great season during the treble?
No one is suspicious or Reijndrs or Wirtz or Livramento. You might prefer some one else, but most admit they are good.
With players that don't work, a good number of fans are suspicious before hand. We all cant be blind. These gaffes are happening and we see them and wonder why X is so highly rated.

Agree you don't know what you've got til it's gone. Eddie is as much a freak of nature as KDB or Erling in their respective positions. There's nobody like him.

in fairness, Ederson is 6 years older. Costa will most likely develop as well. His penalty saves are better for sure. His distribution is already Edersonesque (getting there). I am personally pleased with Costa, although obviously best case scenario we simply keep Ederson happy for more years to come.

It’s got to the point with this lad that I hope we sign him and he proves every fucker wrong. The level some people reckon he’s at makes him seem like a pub team goalkeeper. The guy has played a lot of football for Porto in the league and champs league and also for Portugal in international tournaments. Hes no bum. Fair enough he might not have been peoples preferred option but let’s not go over the top on things
