rags didn't want him, nailed on Jokerez
Sancho and of course their manager, Maresca. City Lite.Tosin, Lavia, Palmer, Delap have I missed anyone? Not forgetting they had Kante too![]()
No he's not, stop overrating him.Poor handing with this one. Delap is already one of the prems top strikers. Probably 3rd behind Haaland and Isak. Said it before we sold him that in a year or 2 he'd be commanding a 50m fee. If he was playing in Italy and not English people would be more excited. Superstar in the making. Ruthless striker.
Fantastic business by Chelsea here acquiring his signature for the small buyout fee.
I’ll let you off. You know how pedantic it is on here.Apologies, I meant being an important player (or a starter) for a big club.
I wasn't taking a shot at City, but there's a huge difference between playing limited mins off the bench and being an important first team player.
Okay, who's better? No he's not, stop overrating him.
Okay, who's better?
It’s was so funny wasn’t it. For forty yards I thought maybe he is a player and then he just knocked it 20 yards in front of him to the keeper. Shit doesn’t begin to describe him. That one on one from the half way line was absolutely appalling for a Premier League striker.
It was like Sunday League

Watkins, mateta, mbuemo, Cunha and Wood for startersOkay, who's better?
Well Mbuemo, Wood and Watkins, maybe others.Okay, who's better?
in 32 games he scored 32 goals and 8 assists in the PL2 with our under 23's. So not just a one season wonder. Just turned 22 a few months back. This was his first full season in the Premier League, and there were 16 players who scored more non-penalty goals then he did.
Obviously he's youngish, and he was playing for a very poor side, but putting him in the top three is a huge call at the moment.
Mbuemo is a winger, Wood and Watkins are not better. Come on now. Great season for Wood but he's turning 34 this year. You would really rather have Chris Wood than Liam Delap? To each their own but you'd be alone on that island. Watkins, decent player for sure. He also was coming off the bench for Villa during the most important part of the season? Rogers is the better player out of them. Also turning 30 this year.Well Mbuemo, Wood and Watkins, maybe others.
He's 14th in the list of top PL goalscorers. He is a player in the making. IMO this only makes sense for Chelsea if they are going to sign another more experienced striker. He's still raw, and learning the game.Poor handing with this one. Delap is already one of the prems top strikers. Probably 3rd behind Haaland and Isak. Watkins, Wood, Wissa, Mbeumo are all better strikers than Delap who is one for the future.in 32 games he scored 32 goals and 8 assists in the PL2 with our under 23's. So not just a one season wonder. Just turned 22 a few months back.
10 non-penalty goals for a team that wasn't even in the Championship 2 seasons ago. He will clearly be a 20+ a goal season striker for Chelsea. These do not grow on trees.

I would without a doubt take Delap over either of these lads. For this season coming, and obviously going forward.
In my opinion, the only player you could argue is Kai Havertz. But for me Delap has a higher ceiling so I'd rank him 3.
He's clearly not top 3 strikers in the league is hePoor handing with this one. Delap is already one of the prems top strikers. Probably 3rd behind Haaland and Isak. Would've agreed with this coming into the season, but there was nothing raw about his ability this season. And of course he'll continue learning the game. He'll only get better as he grows into his adult body. Chelsea are buying him to replace Jackson, who is already a pretty good striker (despite being so hard on the eyes, he is more effective than people think). He's 14th in the list of top PL goalscorers. He is a player in the making. IMO this only makes sense for Chelsea if they are going to sign another more experienced striker. He's still raw, and learning the game.
I already commented on these players a couple posts up. Respectfully, nobody who knows the sport would take either of those guys over Delap (Mbuemo sure but he's not a CF). He is just as ready as Cole Palmer was when he joined Chelsea. They'll be a deadly duo. Delap will start.Watkins, Wood, Wissa, Mbeumo are all better strikers than Delap who is one for the future.
In my opinion he'd have been better off signing for a club like Leeds. I am not convinced he will start for Chelsea who are very likely to buy another more experienced forward.
