It's Quiet the £250m return

Funny the excitement in the media over Liverpool getting 10m out of Real for a player leaving for free. Completely overlooking that it is a total dick move by the club to a long term player and one of their own, to stop him going to a tournament with his new club over two weeks of sitting about waiting for his contract to end. Real being portrayed as some cheeky spanish haggler that has been made to pay, when the reality is they have acted like a big club and paid money they didn't need to for a player they convinced to join them. A bit pathetic, really.

hey, Chelsea are European champions and on the verge of signing a Top 3 striker in the PL
On the up, you know!

They climbed from 8th to 5th in thr table, we went from 1st to 3rd, so technically they Are on the up and we are on the down. Nobody will join us now.

I not sure it does

The players know they will get paid whatever happens and no doubt shipped out if the worst (which only an idiot believes will) was to happen like several relegations

It absolutely is having an effect on our transfer business.
It would be easy for the agent to sow seeds of doubt is they find a better cut from another offer.
Look at who we've ended up signing .

You said a mouthful there!

The question is “Who is on the up? Who is on the down? Who faces rebuilding?”

Then, throw in the uncertainty over the manager, and the fact that some players don’t like our playing style, and you face significant challenges in getting world class players over the line…and that’s before looking overseas.

Tbh, I think Chelsea and Liverpool look better today.

You have some truly fucked up specs if those two clubs look better than us as a destination. Fucking hell. Wouldn't want you in the trenches when things got really bad.

Media optics = full of horseshit.

Genuinely don’t pay any attention to it. It’s all fake.
