Pep Ljinders appointed as assistant coach | James French joins as set-piece coach (p15)

It’s an interesting one, for sure. Potentially signals a minor adjustment in our style of play, with more of an emphasis placed on the type of counter-pressing Klopp used at Liverpool. Either way, I reckon it’s good news. New ideas can’t be a bad thing.
Good because we need to evolve our playstyle considerning we no longer have KDB and won't have Wirtz.

We can’t appoint him. The rags will get confused by two Peps.
The rags also seem confused about an Asian team consisting of Vietnamese players because they just lost a friendly against them right after their worst PL season ever!

It's the best game of football ever played on English soil. Measure it on tactics, intensity, aggression, passion, bravery and I can't think of a single game at any level that gets close. We clearly feel better about it than they do but it was knife edge stuff and everyone involved was working at the very outer edges of their skill and talent.
The Stones clearance game for me was the greatest game of football I've ever seen. Those 2 teams gave everything and whilst both had a different style , they were both absolutely top class and on that day we're the 2 best teams in Europe by a mile. they would've thrashed any other team from any other era that night.

The quality of the game was incredible and if he can bring some of Klopps ideas to the Etihad and helping us to play more direct then it will be a massive boost for us. I do think Pep needs someone with a different perspective and I also wonder if he needs a rival like Klopp to get the absolute best out of him. Pep v Klopp was incredible to watch.

Was a proper game that. Absolute levels.

The cult have become that paranoid and self-isolated, that they won't let anyone who isn't a cult member on to the online RAWK asylum.
Might be a coincidence, but their decision to ban all guests was not that long after some crackpot cult member posted that he wanted to plant a bomb at the Etihad. A post that was present for several days, before being quietly taken down with the mildest of rebukes, after it was presumably complained about. So, is their answer to actively moderate content as happens on here, as happened correctly after the parade incident. No, their answer is let’s go cult members only, so there wont be any complaints, regardless of what get posted.
