My sources have confirmed that the sticking points are around the add-ons.

Heard that they are demanding a packet of monster munch, a bottle of vimto and a new pic of tits out Jackie, every 5 appearances.
And who can blame them.:-)

I'm not convinced he is that good and I don't want us to make mistakes like Casemiro, Ramos, Benzema who all got high salaries but the teams got very little in return.

Come to think of it, I can't think of 5 players who had better careers after Real Madrid than while with them in the last 20 years or so. The last good one.. actually have to go back to Luis Enrique 30 years back!
Robben and Sneijder did alright

I can’t remember where I read it, but the story said he was looking for a transfer because he had fallen etc. Like all transfer stories, pinch of salt required. I haven’t checked AC’s recent selections.
He started 36 league games and was a sub in 1 so that report is incorrect.

I have watched his Youtube summaries and his game looks amazing.

No. He’s been a constant in a team that finished out of contention but comfortably above us in the Champions League placings. Save for McTominay, who is also underrated on here- for understandable reasons, he was the best midfielder in Serie A and for AC Milan. We’ll be signing someone who is selfless on the field and deserves all the success coming his way.

Well, for a team that wins the champions league so much, if you do leave you’re bound to probably win less but many have gone away from Madrid and thrived or maintained their level.

Robben, Van der vaart, Hakimi, Eto’o, Theo Hernandez, Sneijder and our very own Kovacic

He’s been their best player this season. Was reading the Milan Reddit and they’re all devastated he’s going

him and haaland can rotate then both get game time both fresh and gives attack different dimention
If the proposed signings work out, we'll have a very flexible squad that can play different formations and styles of play with ease.

We'd have inside forwards like Marmoush, Foden, Bobb, Cherki with the width provided by the FBs in a 4-3-3, we'd also have more traditional wingers in Doku and Savinho for when we want to play that way.

Foden, Bobb and Cherki could also play as a 10 in a 4-2-3-1 formation. We'd have the players to effectively play 4-4-2, 4-4-1-1 or 3-5-2 as well.

Lots of very flexible attacking options and good ones at that.

It would make team predictions nigh on impossible though ;-)
