Tino Livramento

Yeah and if you add Marmoush, we’re not walking into a situation of three key players missing for a month. Aina’s time passed last summer imo
Totally forgot about Marmoush honestly. Aina would've been great last summer, but yea missed opportunity. Would rather spend the 80m on a 22 year old Livramento than 40m on a 29 year old Aina we'll need to replace in a season or two.

Would love this to happen, I've been calling for it for a couple of years now. His ceiling is very very high, in my opinion.

I presume this is just all Football Manger/FIFA25 with this fella?
The posts more in hope than substance?

Not heard or seen a dicky bird about the possibility of it even potentially happening

We definitely seem to want him mate but I think Hugo is pushing through transfers we can register for the CWC first?

Hard to see NUFC selling their new Trippier heir, and newly-minted England international, to us!

Apparently we value Macca at £30m including variables (£20m-25m upfront) after the Palmer debacle, and Jack at £35m to make a modest accounting profit, just to satisfy the bean counters
Every bit helps!
Our valuation is not the same as book value . This is an accounting number which is the value that the asset of the players remaining contract is in our accounts.
McAtee is zero because we did not pay a transfer fee for his contract. Grealish's is the residual of £100M after 4 of 6 years ie around £33M
The book value is important for P&L accounting and for spending restricions but it has no bearing on the market valuation by other clubs.

I would offer them Jack and James. Both are great players, but clearly have no future with us. They would thrive for them.

I vaguely remember him being the best player on the pitch when we played Southampton to a draw back in 2021, just absolutely tortured us, always thought his ceiling was really high.

That said, I'm not sure we get him for the kind of prices that have been thrown around for Aut nori, Reijnders and Cherki, happy to be proved wrong but the English tax is real.
