Right back options

Problem is that the longer we wait the unrealistic Aina gets. I mean forest will most likely shit on potential 20M for his last year if that means that they keep their RB for the CL and another run for the top 6.

So basically 1 of Livramento or MGW has to join. Perfect would be both but we are too stacked in midfield so the RB has to be HG.
If we are stacked in midfield then there is no point signing gibbs white, homegrown or not. We can just have 1 less in the squad.

Clueless because I didn’t mention top 5 instead of top 4. get some help my guy
No, you are clueless because you thought that Forest had qualified for the CL.

And telling people to get help, isn't the way we talk to each other on this forum, you fucking knob head.

We’re only stacked in midfield because of the old trio.

I wouldn't be surprised if that ship has sailed. Too many foreign players.

I reckon we want Livramento and will be willing to pay a heft fee for him, just not £80m hefty.

We need HG players or in the coming seasons we are going to be in a bad situation.

Nobbins did a great video on out scenario:

Very difficult to get players from Newcastle as they don’t need to sell and the only way we get this lad is if he pushes for the move . We can’t afford to hang around waiting and we definitely need a right back aswell .

Just give 25-30m to Nottingham for Aina.. 1y contract left, home grown, there's no one around thats as accessible. Have no idea if he wants to move thoguh.. NF still trying to give him a new deal.

Ive looked around and come up with nada.. another non homegrown would be rougher.
you know, he would be excellent at supporting Cherki, he looks like a endless speed and stamina

only issue is that we will lose him for AFCON and he is quite injury prone

Cud do no worse than semedo at wolves he's available on a free.
Yeah, not our style to sign a player like that unfortunately but it’d be a no-brainer on a free. I suppose another problem is I think we are definitely targeting a homegrown player for right back. Need to bolster.

Don’t see a month for AFCON being the end of the world, that’s when players like Akanji, Nunes, Rico etc can cover that side.

The homegrown quota is a piss take isn’t it? If they are determined to have it then there should be a maximum fee the player can be imo as better players are cheaper abroad but we have to have a set amount of overpriced homegrown players just for the rules!?

They somehow gotta protect the local talent. Imagine a league without English talents. In the Bundesliga it’s even more strict. I believe you need at least 10 local players.
Just sad that there’s barely reasonable English talent out there. Wharton is a must have in 26

True but there has to be a cap on the transfer fee for homegrown players? Wharton right now would be £100m? We probably get quoted £80-100m by Forest for MGW as well?

Its not meant for poaching, it's for developing your own talent and giving opportunities

Inflated fees are exactly what it's meant to do

If not the "big" clubs could jsut nick the best English players for nothing screwing the smaller clubs who gave those talents the opportunity
