Everyone here console gamers, I take it?

I've been PC only since mid 360 days myself. Had PCs before but got to more of a hobby level around that time.

Enjoyed both over the years but PC has always been my first love and what I use the most. It helps these days that any machine I build for work also makes for a great gaming rig. That said I have recently been eyeing up another console for some sofa gaming. Sometimes I just don't want to spend so much time at my desk.

You still get a bit of controller wobble and the stand feels a little flimsy only other negative so far is the cartridge door material when open will break if small kids not careful

First thoughts on Switch 2

Screen is amazing great colours and a good size

Feels more of an adult toy that the Switch 1 being like a kids toy

Mario kart looks stunning
Cyberpunk only played a little so far looks good better that when I tried it on my pc when first launched

Already ordered a second dock so I can have one upstairs one down stairs

Pro controller 2 is so much better than the first feels great and sticks just glide

Looks fantastic that. When it came out it was a buggy broken mess but now it's genuinely one of the best games I've played in years. Absolutely loved it (when it worked)

I’m half an hour in and loving it

The switch 2 has become my go to console the fact I can play these games both handheld or docked is great

One of the best games I've ever played, might have to replay it again.

Switch 2 arrived with pro controller and GameCube controller.

It's not in development yet. CDPR have a small team working on pre development(mainly the story)but they haven't started work on the actual game itself in terms of graphics, gameplay ect. The majority of the staff are fully committed to The Witcher 4 production.

Probably looking at least 4-5 years before Cyberpunk 2 comes out

I'm a bit reluctant to get a Switch 2 based on Nintendo's pricing model and the fact physical copies are in fact download codes. Shame cause I love Mario Kart and the new Donkey Kong looks great.

All Nintendo first party cartridges have full games on them

It can't be judged on graphics alone, after all its simply a cartoon racer. It doesn't need to be deep and meaningful

It's more the detail and thought that has gone into the tracks, a few nods to the past included, 24 competitors per race, the open world section adds something, rolling starts, online racing (done before i know), its smooth, feels fresher, biggest thing of all its FUN

I think liking or hating Nintendo is like marmite

People that like Nintendo understand it’s never going to be the best graphics they generally release fun to play games with a cartoonish twist. People are judging it as a home console bs ps5 and series x. It you consider it a handheld first that can also be used on a tv you see the charm and appeal.

The screen looks great it’s bright and colourful.

Yes I could play cyberpunk in my series x but I can’t carry that easily into the garden on on a flight.

It’s the convenience of same game save while being mobile or stationary.

It should be more compared to a steam deck a legion go ect.
