There was always a sense with Sterling that football was just a job. Nothing wrong with that and he was a good professional but there wasn’t the same connection and ‘heart on his sleeve’.

Grealish is a normal bloke who just loves footy and a lot of fans can see themselves in him.

He's only got two years on his contract, there's no way he goes out for 12 months and then comes back with just the 12 months left without extending his contract now. There's no chance of that so he's a goner I'm afraid.
