Just finished the latest series, its very watchable TV for me. As you say it, highlights a really important sector that many of us just take for granted. It also shows how much hard work and risk is involved in farming.

Yep. Best thing I've seen for a while. The story is complex the scenes are massive and if you have a big telly it looks amazing. Series 2 gets even better s3 to come

We are casually watching House MD. Really easy watching stuff. Can just put on an episode whenever you fancy. It is like a strange cross between the Simpsons/Midsomer Murders//Sherlock/Casualty. And Hugh Laurie is just ridiculously good at acting.

To be fair, it is completely believable. He never ever drops his "Americanism" at any point and we are getting towards the end of the first series.

Just finished Justified based on the recommendations from this thread. It was extremely good. Lots of great characters and dialogue. Givens and Crowder a great pairing.
