In a way im glad he didn’t say anything as that way he either can’t put his foot in it or give the media and the haters the ammunition they crave to do the usual either misquote or missing the point attack on the great manNo

He did say that "lots of people have worked very hard to try to stop events like this taking place" then blew a raspberryIn a way im glad he didn’t say anything as that way he either can’t put his foot in it or give the media and the haters the ammunition they crave to do the usual either misquote or missing the point attack on the great man

'My God I’m here': Morrissey returns for triumphant Manchester homecoming
It was a vintage Morrissey performance at his biggest ever hometown showwww.manchestereveningnews.co.uk
Sounds like he shocked himself by turning up.MEN Quotes (not linking it as we can't be giving them clicks);
Ahem,
The Mancunian star said: "It's always stated that I was born in Davyhulme... I wasn't born in Davyhulme!"
He then added with some exasperation: "Everybody says I was born in Davyhulme, it's terrible it's something I've got to bear forever through life like hot coals.
"I wasn't born in Davyhulme, does anybody care?"
He went on in answer to shouts from the audience: "Where was I born? I was born in a really scruffy place. Just kidding, Old Trafford."
It prompted a chorus of boos, presumably due to the area's football connections
But before continuing the show Morrissey was quick to retort: "Oh you may boo, you may boo louder, you may boo even louder... I have a lovely pair of firm, solid, Labradors,."
The singing star had earlier looked emotional as he walked out on stage to greet fans at the show. His first words to the crowd were "I'm here, my God I'm here".
Prior to the performance of one of his lighter numbers 'Girlfriend in a coma', the former Smiths star took time to acknowledge some of the high profile 'stars' in attendance including Ben Shephard, the ghost of Tony Wilson, Kier Starmer and Terry Christian.
However, he appeared to take aim at the lack of attendance from one of his fellow roofed-bridge lovers and long time shirt acquirer @Mad Eyed Screamer who appears to have snubbed Morrissey after his latest U.S. no-show.
Sources close to the pair confirm that @Mad Eyed Screamer has not even sniffed any of his vast Stephen Patrick memorabilia since the latest bust-up.
It has been suggested that a potential reconciliation attempt may be brokered by the newly reconciled Gallagher brothers but this is just conjecture at present................
What is happening with the bonfire of teenagers album?

I wasn't there but he's right. We all live off our inheritances and money we've made in business in Prestwich.Love this! - Was @Prestwich_Blue there?
"Then, there is a heartfelt thank you to everyone who came to the show tonight, particularly those from far away, adding with typically dry, tongue-in-cheek humour: "I know some people came from Wilmslow… they work in Waitrose. Some people came from Prestwich… they don’t work,” he added to laughter from the crowd."
Touche.........It’s Steven ;)
Definately. Really good. I like how wide it is too so even getting in near kick off time, you can still get relatively close to the stage on the sides. Like the screens too.No
