Also worth noting there wasn’t “rioting” as such, there were protests. What ICE are doing has been deemed illegal and several Federal judges have told the Govt to stop doing it. Attacking the press in an attempt to silence them is a direct attack on the Constitution.

I turned on the news 4.5 years ago to see a crowd of insurrectionists, egged on by a man who was desperate to stay in power, attempt to overthrow the US Congress from certifying a fair election, whilst calling for the hanging of a vice president, the leader of the house and others. I’ve struggled to have sympathy for any Qanon or maga from way before then…I turned on the news to watch someone drive a motorcycle into a crowd of police. It’s possible I’m totally out of touch but i’m struggling to have much sympathy for these people.
My point is that people who are prepared to throw things, vandalise and torch or drive vehicles at police are generally unpleasant, dangerous and violent people.
