we spent a lot of money on Reis to not have a clear path for his development. If he is to be kept and not loaned out this season we should get rid of 2 centerbacks. Akanji is the non HG one so seems like a nonbrainer. We need to clarify the squad a bit.

I think they just leave him off the CL list and let him train and not play much tbh. Pep wants to look at making him a #6, i expect alot of his development this season will be training pitch based .

Yeh couldnt imagine Doku doing anything like that, possibly Savio.

I actually think Savio will have a break out season next year, he gets in the right places he just needs more composure infront of goal.

You hope with savio that he does what the majority of players under pep do which is take a season to get it while all fans say they are useless etc and then really blossom in the second season

half those goals are u18 level, he's become much more of a playmaker since imo

No problem making up 20 goals from Doku, Savinho, Reijnders, Rodri, Gonzalez,Bobb and the defenders over a season. Definitely don't need another attacking player , other priorities.

We'd need way more the 20 from those 6.

I'm saying Haaland, Marmoush, Foden and Cherki are good for 70-80 goals.

No other attacking player means 70-80 goals from the rest of the squad. I'm saying they'll do 50-60.

My guesses:
Haaland 35
Marmoush 20
Foden 10
Cherki 10

Doku 7
Savinho 7
Rodri 7
Reijnders 7
Bobb 5
Gonzalez 5
The rest would then need 37 goals.
Bernardo, Dias, Gvardiol, Ait Nouri, Stones, Ake, Akanji, right back.

Again they're just guesses, Reijnders did miles better this season but Savinho was way under and 7 would be Doku's best season. I think Bobb has the potential but it was a big injury, who knows how he will come back.

I don't think it's enough goals.

If you have another forward with 20 goals he'll have to play instead of one of the forwards you've named he can't just play as well as and add 20 goals. Those 20 you want have to be spread across the squad already playing.

Well if we can't make room for Echeverri how doe we make room for this extra forward you want ?

The forward could be homegrown and then won't need one of the 17 slots.

But if he wasn't then we'd absolutely have to sell Nunes, Kovacic and Gundogan, to make room, whereas I'm not sure they'd do that for Echeverri.

From glimpses Echeverri looks great but might just be too soon to squeeze him in. He'd need an excellent CWC imo.

This is the most realistic one where Nobbins purposely undersold some players to make room for error. Just looking at averages and what players have scored in their careers.

This is for the EPL only and it brought me great joy.

looking at the past seasons the team that scores the most amount of goals USUALLY wins not always but he crunched the numbers and saw that 93 goals is usually the amount of goals needed to win a league.

We already need to sell 2 non-HG to register all 3 new signings (For UEFA, not PL). 3 with Echeverri.
And that's leaving Reis out of the 17 too, who I also think will go on loan.

Definitely all doable but a lot of work to do for Viana.
