England v Senegal - Tue 10th June '25, 19:45 | Friendly

Bellingham has fucked up that side completely, he just isn't a team player.

He's worse than Stevie Me.
I cannot understand how he’s given a free role, without responsibility, in the England side when he doesn’t get that with his own club. Totally unbalances any system you try to play.

Only watched first half as that was painful enough but the only bit of credit I’ll give England is that they probably don’t want to get injured in what they rightly perceive a meaningless game but I’m desperately clutching here.
I’ve never seen a bunch of mundane above average players thrown together as an England team and I include “who else” in this, we used to have big stars and mavericks who could turn it on now and again regardless of results, this bland collection of players would never have got into an England team years ago.
I can imagine at half time they went straight on the phones to check their socials.

This England set up is main reason Foden and Jack are fucked up from a footballing and some degree personal perceptive
If ever a Brian Clough was needed then it’s now they need sorting

Just got home.

Senegal were all about running and playing for each other. England were slow and numerous sideways or passes back.

Gibbs White did ok when he came on. Bringing Toney on at 87 minutes was just bizarre.

Not surprising really. The rigid, joyless gash thatTuchel embodies combined with the ‘there’s always room for a fuck-up’ that’s England’s stock-in-trade. As someone else in the thread rightly said, eventually it’ll dawn on the FA that the problems with England won’t be solved by changing manager.

For a moment, I thought this was a thread about my ex.

The sleeping pills that England take are working. The tempo is now a crawl.

After a night’s sleep I’ve decided that I would be a better England manager and I’m not always sure I fully understand the offside rule or the handballing stuff.

(Just joking but I think it’s time we bucked our ideas up)
I counted 23 passes it took us to cross the halfway line on one occasion. So we don’t need to Buck up, that is world class defending.

Didn't watch the second half, but how Tuchel has gone back to some of the older players who are past it should worry them. Who appointed Tuchel? He has a history of picking older players! Better off sacking him now because he will do nought.

Not wasted my time on qualifying games or friendlies, I struggle to be interested in the finals to be honest.

Tommy Baghead eh?

In club football he normally starts well and then falls out with everyone.

Suppose with the stacked group we'll be in the finals and bumble into the knockouts but, in the 32 or 16 round someone with some idea or just much better than us will end it all.

Just like every previous manager, friendly matches will be completely forgotten and meaningless when it comes to the major tournaments
