That's because blame is a funny old thing, it begins to wear thin eventually.

You come to realise that while you're pointing that finger of blame at someone else you've got three fingers pointing right back at you.

Despite the media's best efforts to lay the blame at City's door for the rags demise those chickens have come home to roost.

There is no getting away from it anymore, MCFC is far superior to the rags in every measurable way both on and off the pitch (which has got absolutely nothing to do with money) and it's driving them crazy.

For years the rags would brag that they were the kings of the castle while others were the dirty rascals.

The penny has finally dropped and they've become very sheepish. You might think they will return to type at some point if things improve for them. However, I genuinely believe that the damage done at that club is irreparable.

These once proud (braggart) set of fans have become like zombies living in limbo moping around pining for those golden days to return.

The reason they appear to be magnanimous is because they're petrified of any retaliation for the shit they doled out for all those years.
Youd imagine so but if you look at their behaviour pre the europa league final , you would know that their attitude is and will always be the same, ive seen plenty of them say their pull is unmatched because they signed cunha and mbeumo with no cl football

I hate this logic.

Either everybody or nobody should weigh in. If fucking Derek, 51 from Carlisle can bitch about how woke everything is, should we say that plumbers shouldn't weigh in on politics?

They're allowed to have an opinion. We're allowed to agree or disagree with it.

I hate how in instances like this, they describe it as "getting involved with politics" or something similar.

It's not political at all to say thousands of people being killed is concerning etc, it's just commenting on the state of the world and being human.

Jim Shyte;

"After Pep's comments about Gaza. Should sporting figures weigh in on politics?"
What cnuts they really are. The problem with the world today is that sensible educated people don't speak up enough, or are not allowed a stage, rather we are stuck with the views of uneducated baffoons on social media.

Pep's full speech should be played on talksport for all to hear in context. But no, the world we live in today just takes sound bites and uses them to stir up hatred and animosity.

As someone once said i may not agree with your opinion but i will fight to the death for your right to have it.
Very true.

It was Evelyn Beatrice Hall, in her biography of Voltaire, 'The Friends of Voltaire'. She wrote a paraphrase of what Voltaire wrote of one of his fundamental beliefs ('I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it') and it passed down into common usage as a direct quotation from 'l'homme lui-meme' ('the man himself'!)

Saying someone isn't allowed to give their opinion on something.....are we in North Korea?
It's ragebait by Jim Shyte.

I hope the club have had a word because the right fuckwitt who listens to that show might do something dangerous about a line taken out of context in a superb speech.

Also a wonderful deflection from any mention of Bellingham's threatening behaviour towards a female lino last night.

Reminds me of how Carragher set that narrative recently of how nobody should tell Liverpool fans how they should feel about Trent. As far as I am aware nobody ever done that to begin with, people just had their own opinions on if he should be booed or not. That, because it was a subject close to home wasn't allowed according to spitty. This is a man who has built a career on having opinions on every single aspect of football, teams, players etc. Tosser
If the sheep weren't so easily influenced then there wouldn't be a world for influencers

He was very careful not to apportion any blame - just pointing out that no-one should be comfortable about deaths, especially those of children.
Jim Shyte twisted his words for rage bait.

I've not bothered listening to what was said. I turned it off as soon as he said it.

There's undoubtedly some logic to this theory. I'd suggest it has as much to do with the emergence of an entire generation of Rag support who have grown up with City's supremacy.

1/ If Klopp had made the very same comments, Jim White would be enthusiastically seconding them.
2/ What has become of this world when a man can say a genocidal (or, before some clown chimes in, a quasi-gemnocidal, if you prefer) war crime is wrong and those who are supposed to hold power to account are implying the speaker should stay in his lane?
