Tino Livramento

Savinho just didn't cut it for me. Also, I hate the throwing up of arms and stopping because he thinks it's a foul
Pep changed it up in the last 3 or 4 games of last season and went back to packing the midfield.
Teams just sat back and sort of worked out our patterns of play, everything was going out wide to the wingers and they just double up on them.

It was hard to watch the ball going wide to the wingers and then back into the midfield and defence
Pep will have something up his sleeve for next season and I don't think it will involve wingers
If you hate the throwing up of arms and stopping, look no further than Bernie who is the worst for doing that by a country mile.

I have a feeling he's one on the leaving list as well

Yes, Silva does it a lot, but will then run after the ball and try and get it back, unlike Savinho, who just stops and turns off

Not always, Bernie gets up and runs to the ref complaining. For me thats the only thing I can knock the lad about, as hes a wonderful player and love him to bits.

If I was a Newcastle fan, I’d be pissed off if the club accepted this deal
Yep. Barring Livramento throwing his toys out of the pram and demanding a transfer its going to be exceedingly tuff!! If they want Grealish then maybe that might be enough for them to consider it, with a wadge of cash also. Nunes no chance!

Grealish is a game changer for them, their first ever top draw elite recognizable big personality player. He will win them free kicks and pens galore, just like his days at Villa. Pay us 20m + Tino they get our attention

Lol, they'd have to be mad to contemplate exchanging Livramento for Grealish.

One is the next best right back in the country and the other is a washed up piss head on 250k per week.

He was our top goal assists provider for the season so not all bad. He just can’t shoot himself.

Nunes plus £30m would be a good deal for both clubs imo
They get a versatile player who can play in numerous positions. I think he is starting to become a good player.
We get the dedicated fullback we need and English to boot

It would be absolute daylight robbery and there’s no chance they’d accept it. How much are you valuing Nunes at? Nobody outside of the Saudi league would give us more than 20 million for Nunes.

We should get 30m for him.

Problem is they want 80m for Livramento.

He moved to Wolves for £38M and then City for £53M. He’s comfortably a £40M player

£40m absolutely no chance.

He was distinctly average at Wolves after they spent that money on him, we got our pants pulled down big time. Pep stated publicly that he isn’t intelligent enough to play in the position he was bought by Txiki to play in. He has been a big flop here there is no doubt about it. If Walker hadn’t fell off the edge of a cliff so quickly and Stones / Akanji injured all season he wouldn’t have got any look in this season you’d be talking Phillips level minutes.

No one is buying him as a right back. As a central midfield player he can’t play as a 6 and in a top league he isn’t a goal or assist threat centrally and his passing is not that impressive.

We aren’t getting over 20 back from anyone outside of Saudi league.

its a smart/easy pivot. Losing both FBs for the 6 week AFCON though around xmas/new year

Age means you can probably grab a Martim Fernandes/Wesley next window to understudy ready to take over
If we can't get Tino I'd absolutely love the Aina + Wesley additions. It would probably mean the end of Nunes at City which would be a shame. He really did a job in the second half of the season to get us over the line

£20M in this market gets you a Jaden Philogene. Nunes is a Champions League experienced international who can play a number of roles to a high standard. He was statistically one of our best players this season, plus he’s a hell of an athlete and nearly always available

Also, his agent is Jorge Mendes. I can’t see any way he’d move for less than Wolves signed him for if he were to leave this summer
