Daft parallel, but 'in some ways' is probably his get-out. The Nazis just declared Jews not to be citizens and thus "undocumented" (German citizenship under the 1913 Nationality Act was just by living in Germany for 12 years).

Never a good idea to do holocaust parallels. Not because there might not be a grain of truth in some instances, but because it allows the perpetrators of the activity being compared an excuse to feign outrage and avoid proper scrutiny. Perfect example is the Gary Lineker incident where the focus ended up being on what Lineker said rather than what Suella Braverman was up to.
 
Fascism does not arrive in Jackboots, it arrives in slippers and gains the support of the middle class who fear losing their status to the working class.

Trumps attack on immigration and his desire to deport people really means he wants to deport people who are are working class in order to placate and gain support from the American middle class. Historically it has always been the middle class that have enabled Fascism.

It is a smokescreen though as Fascism always is, Fascism serves those with wealth and it deems those without wealth as being inferior and subject to pogroms because of their lack of agency in society.

Fascist leaders have always been failed human beings, they bear grudges, they are egotists and probably narcissists too. They really do believe in their own omnipotence. Trumps ego makes him think he is beyond normal scrutiny as he is the King of his domain. The sad truth for the world is that is he is King of his own domain and that makes him even more dangerous to the world than he ever expected.

His tariffs aimed at placating and preserving the wealth of the American middle class harm the working class more, it is a classical fascist tactic. it divides society as are sadly witnessing in LA.

Do i think Trump is bad man, im not so sure, he is a selfish man, an egotistical maniac for sure, he tells lies, he exaggerates but we in the UK know about that as we had that fucking idiot Johnson in charge. Does he believe in MAGA, possibly he does and his followers certainly believe he can do that.

What he has done in California, sending in troops etc, is a sign of mental derangement. It does however feed into his power narrative. He has to be in control and he has to use his grudges against those who who have offended him makes him vindictive. He is quite prepared to punish the people of LA because their governor holds ideas of a presidential campaign of his own.

Which begs the question, will Trump try and for a 3rd term, Constituionally he is barred from it, but the us Supreme court full of his own appointees could over turn that ruling. Why wouldn't they?

China has restricted rare earth exports, especially for military use. Whether the U.S. slaps tariffs on them hardly matters anymore - America needs to stand on its own now.
 
He's just another cuck for Israel. Bought and paid for (or blackmailed) like 90% of congress that israel does that same to. Same with our top politicians.
