Reis loaned out, Kovacic not named due to relatively long term injury, Echeverri excluded from CL squad, one of the last 5 (not Kovacic) sold.
 
If there's any truth whatsoever to this, Newcastle will rinse us. Would be nice to see a legitimate fullback replace Walker though.

Yeah I mentioned it in my original post. But you can leave players out of the Champions League squad and still give them loads of game time. You can't really leave anyone out of the Premier League squad. Let's be honest, Reis and Echeverri are unlikely to be in the CL squad next season, and we could potentially see both going on loan. But there might be a few difficult decisions next season. I was actually about to start a thread saying 'Who will go?' until I realised that no-one technically has to.

Having said that, I reckon we'd entertain bids for Akanji and Kovacic (even though he was one of the better players last season). But we're sort of in a transition season, with so many experienced players out of contract next summer. Stones, Gundo, Bernardo, Ederson and Ortega all end, and I expect the first three of those to all leave at least.

We can leave players out of the champions league squad still think it’s very unlikely though.We are far more likely to get down to 17 with loans and sales.

£80m jesus christ! Good defender but doesn't do enough going forward to justify that. Plays both flanks and HG so he'd be a very good player to have if you ignore the fee. Maybe the attack can go down the left and he can tuck in.
