Bloody hell. Never thought! It's a bit quiet but ok if you turn the volume up.
This game reminds me when Balotelli tried to back-heel the goal in the pre-season that yearReal pre-season friendly vibes
Not watched anything but but we've had a dull 0-0 followed by a 10-0 trounching that was probably just as dull due to how one-sided it was.
Remember folks, this is the world's best club tournament with the world's best clubs battling to be crowned the world's best team...
Rome wasn’t built in a day. Look at the scores in the first round of the inaugural European cup, now the Champion’s League, in 1955.

Many of the teams viewed it as an inconvenience. Will take time, but in 50 odd years this may be classed as the most prestigious club football title in world football.
A competition held every 4 years isn't going to result in the death of anything.Given the ridiculous amounts of money involved, and the full backing of FIFA, it could also lead to the death of the PL and other elite leagues within the next 10 years.
It's got the potential to be the Super League 'American style', and none of the 'elite' clubs are likely to say no to it.

You could say the champions league is a batch of unnecessary fixtures benefiting no-one but the biggest clubs as well. It's just another batch of unnecessary fixtures, benefiting no-one but the biggest clubs.
If it's a success in financial terms, it will quickly replace something else as an annual competition if the owners see big profits.
Every elite club will want to be at the trough.
Really good coverage from start to finish. The pundits and commentators unbiased and impartial.Vastly better than the dross on Sky.Got DAZN on it’s been quality
Yeah mines at 3pm. Weather should be brightening up by Wednesday, it’s been shit in NY.Did you book a train? We’ve booked the one that gets us to Philly at 3.30pm. Enough time to check in etc before Tir Na Nog
I think Pep said it’s classed as next season. I don’t actually know to be honest. But players break is after it. I thought for every (country) World Cup it’s always counted as part of the preceding season (?), and players have their break after those too.
Happy to be corrected, but I’d always thought it was that way around …

It'll stay a four year comp, I think it will end up being a very prestigious comp, bit it'll be so because it comes around once every four years.
Auckland City were worse than Salford City.10-0. Not the best advert for Fifa
There may well be some form of super league in a few years but it won't happen all of a sudden because this comp is happening. There will probably be a European Super League of some style in the next 10 years. It's what the majority of 'elite' owners already want, and it's clear that the CL is moving in that direction with it's increased numbers and league format.
As such, I can see the CL (and other continental elite tournaments worldwide) eventually becoming the pathway to the CWC on an annual basis, if FIFA believes the public interest is there (which it will be).
It's only about money. Greed is killing the game.
Just remind me how many did the Germans beat Brasil by on their own patch.Bayern scored 10.
A scoreline like that really doesn't add any legitimacy to the tournament.

If you don't support the tournament just say so.
