As for the British media saying nobody cares about it ?
Tell it to the 30000+ Boca fans in Miami!

Philadelphia area schools finished last weekHaven't the schools finished for the summer break? I know they have in some areas of USA.
I arrived in Miami today for family vacation. Didn't realize City were based in Boca Raton, 20 or so miles up the road. Saw a number of City shirts on South Beach this evening and lots of Boca fans packed into an outdoor beer garden to watch their match. Seems the tournament is off to a good start so far from an interest perspective here.As for the British media saying nobody cares about it ?

Have a nice trip! Can’t believe the game is tomorrow (still Monday here in Yanksville) after months of chatting about it.
Off to bed now, almost 10.30pm.
Very small travel bag packed, up at 5am, quick shower and hopefully a shit.
Leave 5.30am from Vermont to the mother in laws 12 miles from Boston centre to leave the Jeep.
5.50am train into Boston. Underground tram to the airport.
9.05am flight to Philadelphia baby!!!!!!
Without this tournament, I would never have heard of Auckland City FC, nor would I have known that a Chinese player was playing for this team. I'm glad the Chinese player did well. 10-0 is a brutal scoreline, and the Club World Cup has a lot to live up to in terms of fixtures, but this is indeed a rare opportunity for other teams and their fans outside of Europe.I arrived in Miami today for family vacation. Yes, there is a significant Argentine population in Miami. Greater Miami is home to one of the largest Argentine communities in the United States. Over 52,000 Argentines live in the Miami-Fort Lauderdale-Pompano Beach metropolitan area, according to the U.S. Census Bureau. This community is so prominent that areas like North Beach, Doral, and Weston have large concentrations of Argentine residents. The arrival of soccer superstar Lionel Messi to Inter Miami has further highlighted and celebrated this strong connection between Miami and Argentina. As for the British media saying nobody cares about it ?

Sounds like he’s got a bright future at Talksport then.State of the clowns doing the build up on Dazn
Danny Higginbotham ex Man Utd player lol played 4 games spent his career at shite lol
AFAIC, FIFA have got no business involving themselves in club football at all. The idea that Auckland getting dicked 10-0 is good for the wider game is bullshit. At best, it’s yet another tournament that’s going to destabilise domestic leagues by giving only one team a huge pay boost.Without this tournament, I would never have heard of Auckland City FC, nor would I have known that a Chinese player was playing for this team. UEFA is also going crazy with increasing the number of matches and burdening the players. Everyone needs balance.
Seriously.
Why would FIFA put LAFC against Chelsea in Atalanta, 2000 miles away from LA, on a Monday at 3pm, when most of the locals in Atalanta are still at work?
As I pointed out out yesterday Auckland are there on merit, being the best team of the Oceania confederation for the last 4 years and FIFA insisted that all confederations are represented. In fact Auckland still would of been in the old format it's just that they are facing much better teams.AFAIC, FIFA have got no business involving themselves in club football at all. Sneering English media - I think you could apply that to most of Europe.Judging from the number of Fluminese and Palmeiras shirts I've spotted around New York today, I suspect that some countries are taking this tournament far more seriously than the sneering English media
Have they got anything going on at the stand on the beach?I arrived in Miami today for family vacation. Didn't realize City were based in Boca Raton, 20 or so miles up the road. In regards to the money, Auckland are guaranteed a minimum of $4M and their owners have said they will be putting the majority of that money into grass roots football for that region
So you wouldn't allow a side from Oceania then? No New Zealand at the World Cup of nations? We beat Leipzig 7-0 in the group stage of the CL.AFAIC, FIFA have got no business involving themselves in club football at all.
