PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

The crying about City’s ability to spend what they want is hilarious and shows zero self awareness as to how he managed to get his brief spell at Liverpool and the conditions of 18 of Liverpool’s 20 league titles were won in a period where they could spend what they want and buy what ever player they wanted.
tbf, I’m not sure it was all of those 18 titles as they won a few before the Littlewood’s money landed in the ‘60s, but I completely take your point.

Bitter, bitter twat.

The same twat who ruffled Brian Laws hair after his initial goal in the replayed FA Cup Semi after Hillsborough in 89.

A case of look this way (while we spend what WE like). Still spending that Coutinho money, I see...

That article is a template for what will be written when we are cleared of the substantive charges if the club continues with its effete approach to the media. It’s replete with lies, misrepresentations and innuendo.

I hope the club gets a fucking backbone to deal with shit like this when the verdict lands, although I’m not holding my breath.
Our PR missed a trick after CAS we realy should have explaned to everyone.
1. CAS found us not guilty ( this was not won because wr have better lawer and more money. NOT GUILTY)
2. Why Der Spiegel, how was the club hakked, 3. Explain what did you mean about the emails taking out of context.
4. Explain that we did nothing wrong like you clamed. Not a one liner.

I am no PR but if we are honest almost everyone dont believe City when we say we are not guilty we have proof of that.
everyone thinks that we won on technical at CAS not because we where found not guilty.
If we just could have explaned our case to the world after CAS, more and more would have taken our site. Not everyone support these red teams.
I strongly believe that it would have been a lot harder for PL to bring the charges if we would have more people on our site.

So if we win this case we are not guilty and we have to explain to everyone, we have to PR Liverpool style. We have to take over the reporting of what happened and what has been going on since der Spiegel.
We dont need a Liverpool fans to explain the result like they did about the CAS last time.
After all that we can start to sue people.

Amen. I never have and never will understand what seems to be a totally relaxed approach from the club ownership / cfg to the toxicity of constant brand damage.

Spot on. We should have come out with a firm statement after the CAS verdict pointing out the result, why they came to that outcome and that anyone who published anything that suggested otherwise (e.g., that we only got off on a 'technicality' or because everything was time-barred) would face a legal challenge.

I like to think we took that snake Conn to task after his appalling nonsense about us supposedly choosing two of the three judges. For an intelligent man to write that showed how far he and the Guardian had sunk, and drifted away from their 'facts are sacred' mantra. And do it publicly, naming and shaming, not behind closed doors and NDAs.

City aren't suing anyone. We've got better and more pressing issues to deal with than giving two fucks about what drunken ex footballers and hacks think. The best form of revenge is and always has been winning. That's what we do best, and that's what causes the meltdowns and the toys to be thrown out by these clowns. The records, the trophies, the signings, the infostructure building, the knowledge that every manager the owners have brought in has won the title, and so on, means that this is a never ending nightmare for certain people who spend way too much time thinking about us, rather than the other way round. We don't need to sue anyone. Our very presence, success, and very existence at the top of the table already achieves the desired goal.

Being cleared of the charges will be hilarious when the meltdowns take on a whole new level of cringe.

I don't think the club will go on an all out attack like some want, but I do think there will be a few pointed comments that City must have the most audited books in the history of sport and that a few emails that look bad if you presume guilt isn't a good way to go about building a case.

I know what you’re saying but if we’d have dealt with the fall out of CAS I don’t think we’d have had to deal with this or the APT. I’d consider a far more efficient use of our time by crushing the cunts early rather than dealing with the fall out later.

I think they’ll do it your way though :(

Shithouse trick by Aldridge, remember watching that game. Aldridge was laughing at Laws too who was distraught after his OG.

He’s obviously got no idea what he’s talking about, as usual but, where he starts to get even more confused that usual, is when he bangs on about ‘domination’. Even Sky, TNT and the BBC have understood that City winning 4 on the trot but going to the last game twice and the last 4 games once, is far more interesting to the viewing public than what happened last season.

Also, he got that skip full of shite through a sub editor and an editor as well…

It’s a coping mechanism after we title cockblocked them for years, although how our supposed inflated sponsorship deals conflate to them blowing a three goal lead at Palace or Gerrard’s slip, I’ll never know

After all the coverage (and some of it very detailed) this case has had, that anyone could be so mind meltingly thick as to attribute the ‘delay’ in its publication to a meaningless thought-blurt like ‘legal red tape’, is truly incredible. A goldfish with a blob of ice cream for a brain would offer more insight. I truly hope we have a post verdict ‘list’ and that that wanker is on it

We tortured them when we took it to the last game, keep believing, looking like we’re down & out then Kev ties his laces & it’s over ;)

He also mentions ‘net spend’ but, like many others to be fair, completely discounts prize money.
We got €50M more than they got, after we won in Istanbul. We almost always get more than everyone else due to our coefficient payments as well but, in typical bitter fashion, they don’t ever let facts get in the way of their mawkishness…

Magic Twat was still saying only yesterday that we chose two of the three judges

I believe there is no chance our owners will take legal action against the UK press in this matter. It's a battle they cannot win.
