Season ticket holders non attenders numbers

So if you buy a season ticket at the beginning of the season with all games pencilled in for 3pm on a Saturday. We have a reasonable idea that the big 6 games are likely to be 4.30pm on a Sunday & probably 2 3pm Saturday kick offs early in the season & after that we've got know idea what time & date the rest of the games so how can you expect people to plan a) holidays at work & b) transport because even a midweek 7.30pm kick off is a struggle if you're a9 to 5 worker.

How many midweek 730 kick offs do we have? Attending 10 games is not a big ask and if you can't, surely a flexi gold is a viable solution. I am fortunate enough to get to the vast majority, but I know if my situation changed and I was only going to get to 4 or 5 I would 100% get a flexi gold knowing where I am going to be sat etc.

Not creating this new policy isn't a big ask either. Showing a little loyalty and trust to your season ticket holders isn't a big ask.

The club know who the people who never make use of the season tickets are, they could focus on them. Instead, they've chosen to wrap everyone else up in this bullshit.

What to make of these numbers from City today.....reported by Simon Bajkowski of the M.E.N

- Over 5000 attended fewer than 10/19 games
- 3000 of those attended fewer than four
- 1200 of those attended NONE

How the fuck do 1200 people not use their ST even once.
Seems very odd/unlikely
Happened to my dad and uncle when they became too ill to go.

The number does seem high though for complete non attendance.
would love to see how long they had an ST for and age groups.

I thought the idea of increasing the stadium to 60k was so they were eligible for Euroopean finals.

I’m no business man but I wouldn’t have thought spending tens of millions of pounds for the sole purpose of possibly been in with an outside chance of hosting a Champions League Final at some point in the future, would be a particularly wise investment.

Plus the chances would probably go from slim to zero if United ever get round to building their super duper new ground.

wonder if tomorrow MEN will release the rags equivalent figures which would be far higher…

Only if United choose to release them into the press so the club can justify their actions, using a false narrative, to conceal their real motivations for lowering season ticket numbers.

Every knows how secretive our club is about how tickets are allocated but when it suits there happy to release the info to the Media. Blame the club not those reporting the information.

Excellent point mate.

Just to add to the corollary of events. The people bringing legal action against the club featured before City briefed the press. Before then you had committed Blues with flexi-golds (getting to 10 games plus) being considered as inferior fans to season card holders.

I’m against introducing the 10 game policy. I’m just giving a bit of balance to the sequence of events.

Nowt to do with the club though is it.
