Fixtures Calendar - 2025/26

Overrated. My 30th was the day the rags beat us when Mctominay scored from about 30 yards out. Got my nose twatted in and a few days later Covid ended the world for a year. Happy birthday to me!
I’ve got Haalands debut at West Ham away on my birthday, the Madrid covid game in 2020 and the 2011 Community Shield where Nani ran through last minute to win them it, mixed bag.

Not sure whats best for us this year. We usually have slower starts and better finishes so you'd probably want the bigger games at home later in thr season however im not sure how this season will pan out, we could be fitter than most early woth the cwc and could be knackered in the run in which would favour us having the reverse of that.

Has there ever been a leaked fixture list that's been correct? I've never seen one even half right yet every year they successfully con so many into circulating such bullshit.

I look forward to a certain section of our fanbase claiming the super computer and the premier league is out to fuck us over, highlighting an inevitable tough run of fixtures as proof whilst ignoring the easier run that tough run has to create and claiming certain rivals always get more favourable fixtures despite us all literally playing the same games. This is replicated across every single fanbase with it being especially mental in dipperville.

Exactly!

The one that got put back due to Hillsborough, it was played on the Friday almost 2 weeks after the league ended, should have been in April after the disaster.
Ah ok thanks. So it wasn’t in fact scheduled to be in the last round of matches? Hmm, makes me think it’s not entirely random somehow ;-)

And let’s face facts, it was the only reason arsenal won the league that year

If I remember rightly, the league offered anyone too upset to play the following week, the option of postponing.

Liverpool obviously took them up on the offer. And I’m pretty sure the only other team to request it were Arsenal. Who coincidentally had a few injuries and were going through a bit of a sticky patch.

They came back refreshed and firing on all cylinders.

That’s the way I remember it anyway. No guarantee I’ve not just imagined it though.

I go on holiday on the Sunday of the 1st weekend so hoping for a home game on the Saturday
Been invited to a garden party at my boss’s spread on the Saturday. Always a good do and lots drink is quaffed. So my hope is away first game.
Wasn’t there a suggestion we’d asked for an away fixture first weekend because of the building work

Losing 4-0 at home to Charlton, when Dunney made a block tackle and it flew into the top corner of our goal from 40 yards, was the PERFECT way to spend my 30th in a box

If you wanted the top two to play each other last game you wouldn't have picked Liverpool and Arsenal, yes Liverpool but mu, everton and spurs would probably have been gambled on.

Chelsea v mu was Jose's first game, although they ended 1st and 3rd that season,

It’s ok for some posters to comment we play every team twice which is of course factually correct. However last season we had a couple of months where the run was horrendous and we were playing CL games as well.

A Boxing Day game at home for the first time in ages and it’s played at 12:30 was also disappointing, along with first and last games away.

We generally get one of the best teams outside the top 5 away for the first game of the season, it will be Brighton, Newcastle, Brentford or Everton at their new ground whilst the Rags will get a relegation 3 pointer at home against Sunderland or Burnley and the Dippers will also play a relegation team.

We'll get one of the other 21 teams in the Premier League this season home or away as first game on one of the four days Friday, Saturday, Sunday or Monday. This I can guarantee!

Really? Thought there were only 19 other teams, you would have been correct going back to the 94/95 season, you’re either Rip Van Winkle, been locked up in Solitary Confinement or just a little “tired and emotional”, no offence intended :-).
