PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Berrada has delivered a recent assessment to Sir Jim Ratface and the Executive at United.

It was a wide-ranging brief on the market and warned the Premier League is entering an increasingly uncertain period.

He again asserted his conviction City have done little wrong and will be cleared of all the most serious charges.

I'll leave that to others. The first I will get to hear something is being announced will be about an hour beforehand, if the previous CAS verdict was briefed to the staff in CFG, is anything to go by.

I have a lot of contacts at United and this is simply a very reliable steer what Berrada is telling his own club in recent days.

rag ;)

English is not my first language so do forgive me if I misunderstood this passage, but I read "we may not have a final pre appeal decision on both liability and sanction" as we're not going to have a decision on liability, and also were not gonna have a decision on sanction. Again, apologies if I misunderstood.View attachment 160390
Liability feels imminent but either 1) because of the time it takes to arrange a sanction hearing and then get a result or 2) because the sanction is stayed pending a liability appeal, we may not get a first sanction decision this side of 2026

Omar Berrada's speculation is, I guess, no more enlightening than anything we have heard to date. He will not be briefed before our board, but I guess he will have the information sometime between that point and the media release. I hope that an announcement is imminent. I cannot imagine that it is in anyone's interests for a release at the beginning of the new PL season.

Interesting wording.

"Little" wrong is different to "nothing" wrong........

Omar Berrada has briefed Manchester United to prepare for potential 'civil war' within the Premier League and that there was no wrongdoing during his time at City. An announcement is imminent and Berrada expects City to be cleared of ALL the most serious charges.
He’s hardly going to say ‘yes boss we were bang at it while I was there’ is he?!

The minute the rags got Berrada onboard was a huge soft signal that we'd done absolutely zero wrong.
I look forward to the breaking news dropping and all the red mardarse fans having the biggest of meltdowns.

Yep. No way they were hiring Berrada if there was a likelihood City were guilty.

Unless of course Ratcliffe is an incompetent moron which, admittedly, is an increasing possibility given his track record so far :)
