PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Mad when you think we’ve had this shit for half a decade now! I remember being out with the Mrs that Valentine’s Day night absolutely fuming what a piss take it’s been from start to finish!
And that was the red cartel's plan from the start.....they know we haven't done anything wrong but dragging our name through the mud for a decade (if you include UEFA) helps them degrade our achievements and keeps the red fans red.

From day one, this has been about us taking food out of their mouths.

The shit City and its fans have taken from Feb 23 and before that going back to Valentine’s Day 2020. The melt down from the media and all those plastic rags and dippers is going to be biblical. Will kinda make it worth taking the shit we have done for the last few years. They will have nowhere to go, the club is on the front foot with the apt case. The PL will have zero appetite to fuck with us ever again.
Definitely a win makes it all worthwhile

Yeah but,......job done by the PL and media, even if we win we'll still be labelled as cheats, but cheats with brown paper bags stuffed with oil dollars for the men in suits who decide.

I genuinely have no idea, but a judgment off 300 pages will include all accusations and evidence presented by the PL and expensively assembled legal team.

The judgment will detail all their accusations and all the evidence which will be very well presented and put in the most convincing way possibly.

Not saying it will win, but not all of it will be told it is incorrect, most likely if we win it will be the accusations what evidence they have and that it failed to meet the required level of proof.

This can be read and printed in the media with an angle or a position against City, can stay on the right side of the law and still paint a picture of us being guilty even if the position is no charges.

This is the point I was making, that even the best outcome can still be painted in a bad light.
The required level of proof is only balance of probabilities, a long way off beyond reasonable doubt.

if we are cleared of all serious wrong ding the meltdown on social media from opposition fans is going to be months worth of hilarious viewing and headloss.....i cant wait!
Now that you have stopped winning everything, I genuinely think that people don't really care any more. I know I don't and I used to be obsessed with the case. Surely you must have noticed this? Apart from a few die-hards on Twitter, it barely gets a mention.

The standard of proof is balance of probabilities because it's a civil case, but the nature of the most serious allegations means the evidence has to be particularly cogent, which raises the standard way beyond simple balance of probabilities, closer to beyond a reasonable doubt. Somewhere in the middle, I suppose. The panel isn't going to toss a mental coin and see which side it falls on. It will have been more like tossing a coin five times and unless the same result is achieved then forget it (yes, I know it's not a perfect analogy).

Add to that a presumption that people act responsibly and within the law, especially respected businessmen with impeccable reputations who give witness statements, and the PL better have some serious smoking documents if they want to have any chance at all of succeeding on the most serious charges. Which they won't.

So you have gone from will be found guilt of something to I don’t know what we will be found guilt of to we will be painted in a bad light

Its spoken about literally every single day, during every single transfer rumour, during every single disciplinary case for any team in the world.
You're being wilfully ignorant. Oh and one season off after a decade of dominance doesn't mean we've "stopped winning everything". Don't worry, you'll be crying into your 90s VHS tapes again soon enough.

Do you still do opposition team bus welcoming with bricks, bottles and any other missiles you can chuck?

one season we didnt win anything, toddle off back to rawk, this level of idiocy is the norm over there, not over here

Sorry what’s your point ? Are you saying they would never relegate us even if guilty on all counts ? If so why not ?
I personally don’t think relegation has ever been on the table. It’s nothing more than scaremongering. And I don’t think we are guilty on all counts. But as I’ve said previously, I’m not clued up on the laws the PL are working to, but to my limited knowledge it’s, at worst, creative accounting. A practice that every company will do. Might be wrong, though I’m usually always right, but we will see
