PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

I agree with @Prestwich_Blue on this particular argument.

Nothing is black and white within football. Complete law onto themselves as we have seen with Chelsea under Abromivch and most recently with hotels/women’s team.

Khaldoon knows how this is going to play out. I believe that 100%. He has informed the people he needs to keep the club functioning and moving forward. It is unthinkable that the new stand and player recruitment would happen with a guilty verdict.

Those Pep press conferences around that time told its own story.

He might not have the full written verdict. Read the room. I have and it’s clear that purely legal judgment has not been published. That don’t mean he don’t know. I don’t know why people can’t see this.
Those are two quite different claims though.

No idea whether they think they know or not. Open-minded to anything there.

But sitting on a verdict since March, loopyland.

It depends who's been told and how. If Khaldoon and Simon Cliff were privately told, and to keep it strictly to themselves, then I'd say there's every chance it doesn't leak.

There was simply too much noise around March/April and a trusted source gave me some very specific information then as well.

That's a bit of a fallacy in itself, because if they were privately told and then leaked it no further as you suggest, than any March noise from whatever source would have been anything from meaningless to nonsense.

I think both parties know the outcome and nothing has been leaked because there is some horse trading going on behind the scenes, with City in a position of power . The Prem don't want anything leaked until they have sorted their position out with City, and City having the upper hand are being generous to them so that there is no animosity going forward, seeing as we make our living in the Prem . Unfortunately I don't think there will be fireworks and the razing to the ground of the Prem more new people in certain positions and job titles with a fresh start and a well that was then but we are moving forward kind of attitude .

This is interesting: we all want to know what the outcome is but increasingly we want to know why we are having to wait so long to find out. I know Stefan has counselled against impatience all along and his is an opinion which has to be respected, but he believes that it is imminent. PB has given us reasons to believe that the outcome was known to a very select few in March and PB's view is also to be respected. All of which raises the question of who may be delaying the publication of the judgement and, more importantly, why. As has been argued frequently if Khaldoon has known the outcome for 3 months or even a few days he seems very relaxed about it. He doesn't seem to be suffering agonies of guilt! IF ...
Yes the outcome has been told to a very select few, which has happened to spread so far down the line to reach as far as PB. But has managed to be kept a secret otherwise. Aye, that's entirely believable. Ffs guys.

Not sitting on a final written verdict, I agree but he knows how this is going to play out and probably has done since March. I believe he has communicated the relevant info to the relevant people. Pep is one of those.

Fuck that ! I want us to go nuclear on the cunts and all that encouraged it , weve been labelled as cheats for the last 5 years , fucking sick of it

Maybe the verdict is known and damages are being sorted leading to everything finished in one mammoth release.

The loser without question will be mitigating the damage behind the scenes and there will no doubt be an agreement in how the judgement is published etc? Its a HUGE decision for the league and City to be fair.

Trust me I wanna go scorched earth as well but Khalddoon and Mansour are business guys they will do whatever to ensure City come out of this in a favourable position even if it means extending an olive branch . But one thing is they won't forget what the prem have done .

whether we like it or note, going nuclear on the premier league will have knock on effect to the credibility of the league potentially impacting TV rights, sponsors etc. Not sure City want to bite the hand that feeds them (or % of the clubs revenue). If there's any discussions taking place with PL it makes sense for City to leverage power across the 20 clubs in the league, not just the red tops etc. But who knows!

If it's anything like the CL final coach park fiasco, and the complete and utter silence from the directors, I think you will be right.

I also think a deal will be brokered between City, Masters, the PL, and the other PL clubs that will be acceptable to be all parties, if City have won the case? If?

Do I think City will go after the PL and the Red Shirt Cartel clubs in public, no I don't.

Hopefully within that deal Masters will have to resign or step down.

I'm with you there.
Fuck the softly softly approach, these twats have let everyone drag our name through the mud and take potshots at us whenever they like.
An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth, Masters and his lapdogs need teaching a huge fuckin lesson and reasoning with them when they levelled what they have levelled at us isn't on the table.

Fuck them.
