Priced out?

We went for lunch in Lyme Regis today, it was nice, my wife had a crab salad and I had a veggie salad. I had a pint of cider and she had apple juice. Then coffees. £54. Is it really that relatively expensive to go to a football match in comparison?

I’m sure if two adults could go to a Premier League match, have food and drinks and have change from £55, then everyone would be happy.

Could you do it 19 times in 9 months?

Had many great trips to Lyme Regis , some great pubs including the cobb and the harbour inn which had some the best fish dishes I have ever sampled .haven’t been since 2018 as accommodation rates have gone through the roof

How would people feel about 1894 (and/or other City fan groups) showing solidarity with United fans in their disgust over these ticket prices?

I’d have no issue with it personally. It would be interesting to see what other posters think.

Personally rags can do one.

I want the rags to go bust after they drop down a few divisions.
I have had nothing but piss taking from these plastic cockney rags around here for decades.

These fans are just like the club, I've never might one around here who doesn't think Trafford is part of Manchester. It's hard work explaining that they are a Manchester club.

Even after I sho them this

There are (very limited and restricted view(?)) £9 seats for everybody in each end far end of the Main Stand up high.

Your own evidence isn’t backing up what you’re saying.

According to that graphic, £9 junior tickets are available in all sections, of all stands. Apart from Anfield Road.

Albeit, there’s no indication of how many in each.

I didn't say there weren't, I was comparing adult ticket prices with ours. They're the brown (because it's a shit view?) blocks at each end of the upper Main Stand.

More fool you for paying £54 for salads and 4 drinks

It’s a bit like the 4,499 heavily pregnant Blues / season card holders who hardly got to games last season.
A bit cynical and sarcastic there @Tim of the Oak? What about the genuine people who cannot always make a match but make sure that their seat is filled by either giving their ticket to a genuine fellow Blue or putting it back on the Exchange with the club?

Lyne Regis is getting nuked when I get hold of a nuclear warhead.
Went there two weeks ago and had two licks of my ice cream before a f'ing seagull got the rest, and also got a parking ticket because the campervan was too long. I wouldn't mind but it was the only vehicle in that bit of the car park and wasn't blocking anything. - And it was my bloody birthday.
The fish and chips and pint of IPA in the Cobb Arms was quite nice, if a bit pricey.

The median season ticket price of around £750-800 now looks expensive compared to match day prices, but availability of the latter is unknown and can be a bit of a lottery.

i just had a look on the city app, and i can still get £5 off tickets when i buy a membership for 35 notes, so a derby game i could pay 40 for a really good seat or 28 in 3rd tier, might have a few games

Here’s a question that I don’t know the answer to - was Gorton in Manchester when we were initially formed as St Marks?

I've said many times that City's approach should be light touch and heavy on exemptions. I have also said, the last time I saw a heavily pregnant woman at City, Adam Johnson was playing.

I am all for fairness. I am against against misleading legal action against the club we are supposed to love.

I've paid a lot less for crabs.

I work until 2:30pm on a Saturday. If I didn't finish work early, lose money, so I can get to the match, I could fall fowl of the 10 game rule. City really need to look at the 10 game rule again. It isn't fair on a lot of fans, through no fault of their own.
