Club World Cup - Summer 2025

City prize money so far then:
  • $38.2m participation bonus based on UEFA coefficient
  • $2m for 1 win in group stage
Total $40.2m. Keep it coming.
You should double that to take into account the money that Liverpool would have earned if we didn’t participate and they took our place

I am well into this tournament. Last season I was excited by it, but I worried how our squad could handle the fatigue given we were very stretched. Now its upon us I am thinking about winning a trophy in the face of overwhelming hostility. The BBC seems set against it because they think FIFA is close to Saudi Arabia, and probably they are also playing to the gallery of Liverpool and Man Utd fans who want to rubbish it because they aren't in it.
The ultimate two fingered salute. Win the 115 case then win the World Cup beating Real Madrid on the way!

Yes ,though saw a thing, think it was an Athletic video, they were saying the prize money I presume for games, was taxable at a rate depending which state the games were played in.Which surprised me.Still decent money for the club though.

so the Juventus game isnt on channel 5 only on DZAN, thats a bugger as we had 20 members watching in our pub and made money for pub,

I went to the City game in Philly. The crowd was hyped, fans were loud and supporting City like crazy. The games in this tourney have been good and I enjoy seeing teams I would never see otherwise, play against teams that we see constantly in Europe. It’s nice seeing teams like Miami, who people were throwing temper tantrums about, beating Porto and the best team on the planet at the moment PSG losing to a Brazilian team. We wouldn’t see this anytime else so I am enjoying it

Very surprising to me that City's game in Orlando v Juventus has so many tickets available. Looked at the prices on Ticketmaster and they're pretty high. Hope they lower them.

The atmosphere around Philly today is great a LOT of Flamengo fans and a decent amount of Chelsea. We are in the Reading terminal market and it’s just buzzing.

Last day in Philly before we move on but it’s been a blast
Our Silva, Kompany & Sergio statues were sculpted & fabricated in Philadelphia, the bitter blue capital of America

But Spitty scouse **** said no one cared about this comp and rag central keep telling us how many seats haven’t been sold. Maybe they are just jealous shithouses, crying because the cartel clubs didn’t qualify.
