Cup Schemes - 2025/26 | Deadline Friday 27th June 5pm

I said the same thing to my daughter when she turned 18…….
She’s 30 now and I’m still paying….. and for the lad too….
The joys of being a Dad eh???
(And I wouldn’t change a thing. Quality time, memories for life, money can’t buy that)
Thank god im not alone, two girls 31 and 33, one has left home and is married and now pregnant, first grandchild on the way in July and i think i pay more now than when she was at home.

Just had a reminder that the deadline is on Friday.

No announcement at all on CL tickets though, which isn't good enough in my opinion.

They've capped domestic cup tickets until the QFs, they could have done that for the CL.

Just the FA Cup for me, weekends and a known price structure until the quarters.

Aside from the biggest matches, of which there's likely to be between 1 and 2 of in the group stages, they are always reasonably priced. Actually more in line with the new price structure than the old one.

And cup scheme is always the method of getting the cheapest priced ticket for your seat.

I always assumed the cap on domestic cups was across the board. But they’re using it as selling point for joining cup schemes in that email.

Has that always been the case then?

Yeah only ever for cup scheme people in the domestic cups. You'd expect the non cup scheme prices to not be too dissimilar though, so although the cap doesn't apply, there's not going to be a huge huge difference.

This is exactly why I'm not bothering to be honest, those 1 or 2 games bring the cost up enormously. £53 for my Inter ticket was a farce and what followed was a game where neither team were that arsed.

Part of it is the new format too. Between £150-£200 to watch 4 games to get to a knockout stage that we know we're 99.9% likely to be in just feels a bit pointless.

Just double-check your supporter account to make sure you're enrolled properly. I always join all 3 when I renew my S/T but having received the email from City this morning which seemed to indicate I wasn't in any of the schemes, I went into my account to make sure and found I wasn't in any of them and had to rejoin them all.

First time since their inception I won't be in any of them, had to cut them
all down 1 by 1 over the last few years, Sad but needs must.
Same here , will always get a ticket from somewhere if I need one , but circumstances and the greed of football has led me to do it .

Do you pay by direct debit? I’ve never had any issues with cup schemes automatically renewing with DD but a mate who pays for his ST in one instalment had the same situation as you a couple of years ago and had to manually rejoin the schemes.

No mate. I paid in one go. Maybe that had something to do with it but you know what our Ticket Office is like : (

Same here.

I can get a ticket for any game at the Etihad in the CL I want to watch. I know I will have to pay more for the ticket as I’m not in the CL cup scheme this season.

I'm aware that we have a season ticket thread but just wanted to see what the consensus was on cup schemes next season. Who's doing what?

I was in all 3 this year but planning to drop the League Cup and Champions League/UEFA Scheme.

The League Cup is going for sure. Mid-weeks aren't great but are made worse with the lack of announcements regarding pricing, they just make it up as they go along, especially the Champions League games and for the first time since we've been in Europe I found the group stage completely tedious and meaningless.

Probably stay in the FA Cup as it's usually a weekend and costs in that competition for the last 2-3 seasons have been the best value for money.

Edit: I think the deadline is the 27th June.
Same here. Fed up of being sat next to away fans or day-trippers taking selfies all game long in the CL. Might just see who we draw in the league phase before deciding whether to buy or not.

been toying with ditching the champions league for 2 years midweek games get on my tits.

problem is I know I would just get a ticket anyway so the discount i welcome
