Tino Livramento

Not sure he is, I said Bradley was, but I don’t rate Frimpong at all as a right back. If liverpool play him as a right back in a back 4 their centre halves will have their work cut out. Depending who they buy s a centre forward I think Arsenal will be the team to beat next year. Finish above arsenal and I think we win the league.
The thing there is that arse-anal's weak link is their manager.

I still feel this deal is 50% depend on Newcastle’s window.
Just saw the news of Forest categorically saying no to Elanga deal for 45 million pounds.
Even Burnley asking 35 million atleast for Trafford.

They being rinsed left right and center and then needing one big sale to counter PSR can help our cause.
Right now they have been rejected by Brentford Burnley and Forest and the desperation may quietly creep in.
Newcastle offering £45m for Elanga is a joke especially after Forest wanted £70m+ for MGW

The fact that next summer is a WC summer doesn't make any player more tired next season.
But it does give more headaches and sad faces if people aren't picked which is exacerbated by a large squad.
No, but player burnout isn't something that happens in one season, it's over 2,3,4 etc without a proper rest. A lot of our squad now will (hopefully) be with us for quite a while and the schedule isn't going to get any less. We need deeper squad to cope with the inevitable injuries, drops in form etc that goes with otherwise we might be seeing repeats of what happened last Autumn.

Depends what you mean by deeper squad, if it’s numbers then last season we started one short of our maximum, and finished it over the maximum, this season it will be slightly bigger mainly because Bobb is back and O’Reilly has broken through and hopefully we don’t lose a player for the whole season.
If you mean deeper by more quality and younger players being able to play twice a week and be good enough to rotate in and out then yes we do. I think with the signings we’ll have that though.

Utter rubbish
Not that I'm seeking to argue, but where is the Nunes shaped hole in their 1st XI ? Whilst I'd say that we arguably have as strong a squad, I think they - until we sign a decent / natural RB - have a less fallible first XI.

Get a decent / natural RB - and that changes considerably. Then its just down to luck, form & injuries.

IMO if they play Frimpong at right back it’s in the same place as Nunes in ours.

Perspective. We sometimes lack it here ;)
The point is we are not signing prime Walker. 22 year old Walker would be cheaper than the one we signed.

I would love City sign Tino and I think he looks great. Just worry about the consequences of overpaying. We will get quoted silly prices for every player we try to sign from a PL club if we do. Right back is historically one of the cheapest postions to fill.

Perhaps the solution is to try dangle another player in front of toon to get price down. Planning should have been better as well so we did not need to end up in this spot. We should got rid Kyle two seasons ago. Hindsight is a beautiful thing :-)

Can t we just loan them Savinho or Echeverri so they don’t have to spend big this season on that and get a decemt price for Tino :-).

Frimpong will get exposed hard unless Liverpool is switching to some 3-4-2-1 to accommodate Wirtz.

The same TAA who got absolutely destroyed by Doku & has absolutely no awareness defensively,.

Nunes gets mullered for his cock-up v the rags yet Gvardiol has made similar mistakes on the left & gets voted our players of the season.

And Kovacic who does braindead things including scuttling our CL tie vs Real Madrid is fondly remembered as a vital player and must be kept in midfield.. because of some padded goal vs Everton while Nunes's assist to Nico O'Reilly is totally ignored for the first goal in the same match.

Some of these takes are worse than Brexit takes! I can't even bother arguing with them but it don't sit well with me.. how bad Nunes is treated.

You are preaching to the choir. I am right thrre with you. :)

Don't want to overpay. And 70 mil talk les 90 is more than double his current valuation in my opinion.
