Yes they would, in more ways than one, especially being able to play at the best club in the world, then to be part of a fantastic squad that achieved and won so many things, and also being able to be pictured in some uncompromising situations looking worse for wear, after being pissed up, yea you are right, quite a lot of players probably would swap if they could get away with it for as long as he did

Making out he's murdered someone hahaha. Young lad has a few drinks SHOCKER!!!

Grealish is a treble winner. Why would supporters turn on him the way they have?

Because that's what the media have done. Id like to think after all the years of the media and pundits constant lies about our club we'd be more woke to their nonsense.

The pictures of Grealish "last one to leave" KDB's party the other week when in fact he was within five minutes of Kev himself leaving.

Some of our fans lap it up. Grealish every summer puts pictures on of him training abroad preseason. One paper could publish a picture from months before of Grealish having a drink and our fans are "OMG HES DRINKING AGAIN".

Always been the same

It’s actually fucking insane the grief he gets when he was an integral part of the highest achieving team this country has ever produced and therefore the greatest group of players to play for this club.

Can you imagine City fans talking about Neil Young in that way because his form dropped off after 1970, even though he was an integral part of a title, cup and European winning team?

It’s not about turning on him, nobody has as far as I’m concerned, it’s still just a case of what could have been as in his prime to be one of the very best

So let me ask you this being as you’re all defensive about him and the other members of the treble winning squad, do you think he should have kicked on and done better, or are you one of those who blames Pep for the way it’s probably gonna turn out?

Same question to you then

Like all clubs, we have fans who just want to hate on our players. And, as you say, it’s always been the same.

If he goes, it’s a big ‘Thank you, Jack’ from me. Part of the team that won so much and made our meagre lives that much better.

Whose hating? People like you who say hating are siding with the player, which is fine, no probs at all with that, everybody has favourites, but when you get older like me for example, look at situations like this and think ah fuck if only and things like what could have been

I’ll be honest with you all who are involved this morning reading this, make your own minds up about me I don’t give two fucks, but I’ve sat on the fence for a long time here with Grealish, there is a player in there, whether it was a 100m player is another discussion altogether like, and he’s a fantastic guy from what we’ve seen on videos with fans and particularly kids and that, superb in that respect, but he’s got a demon in his life and will more than likely ultimately define his career, sad really

Most players in the world would swap their careers for what Grealish has achieved
This is the difference between a supposed successful career and a stellar
Having an elite mentally is something Grealish doesn't possess
I think he'll be remembered for his Villa career, not his medal laden City one
Edit- until he's pictured shagging an alsation in a alley at Cafe Benidorm. Then it will be "Manchester City legend"

Forget the drink or lifestyle, I don't think it's the reason why his place in the City squad is in doubt.
Yes, the media are feeding the fire with petrol and will be all over Jack and City with the £100million price tag

But again, it's all smoke and mirrors, deflecting the truth for hits. Jack has had problems with demons and mental issues because he is just a normal lad living a dream. Some players take to it like a duck to water, and others find it like a 10-foot brick wall and struggle to get over or smash through it.

Whatever happens next for Jack, he will be forever a part of the dream and the treble and the 4 in a row.
So, Good Luck Jack for the future, be it here or somewhere else,

Well I’ll start with an easy one then first for you - are you disappointed in how or how it could turn out?

Second - Do you blame Pep?
Your first question suggests that your overriding feeling towards Jack is one of disappointment, and that certainly doesn’t dominate my thoughts on the subject - as much as The Second Coming doesn’t dominate my thoughts about The Stone Roses LP. If you want an honest answer, and seeing as you asked, I would say allowing that to happen when his time with City is plainly at an end, but was filled with so much joy previously, is a waste of emotional energy and displays a way of thinking that I find baffling and suggests a level of mental weakness; as if people want to focus on the negatives to no discernible benefit, when there are so many positive things to focus on.

In terms of your second question (which is conspicuously leading) the fact he’s dropped off in the last couple of seasons is down to a number of factors, but I wouldn’t say Pep was one of them. People have to take responsibility for their own shortcomings.

With that said then there’s no real point in you wasting your time and energy on this subject, but being as you’ve “liked” and responding it must be something you do think about, albeit not at the top of your priority list, again I fully respect that

I ain’t obsessed about it myself, just disappointed as I’m sure plenty are, but being disappointed is totally different from a hater, but the positives you’re trying to aim for is what I’m saying there could and should have been a lot more

I’ll admit the second question was a tad naughty, but still needed to see your response and thoughts, to sound a little contradictive here I sometimes semi blame Pep, thinking it’s a shame and shit like that, but I’ll never question his choices as he’s won more than Grealish ever would, and he sees him everyday and weighs up things, and doesn’t take a rocket scientist to establish he doesn’t like what he sees no more for his plans…….then again if no takers this summer the cameo roles could still well occur

You seem very defensive on this lovely Sunday morning.

Enjoy the day and stop hating ;-)

Never said you were a hater and I agree there’s a distinction between being disappointed and hating.

You’re right it is lovely this morning currently 31 degrees sat on my lounger in the Greek sunshine, just a general look at what’s happening on good old BM
Feels the same in an overcast Armitage, just twice as humid and without a sea breeze. The gentle passing of canal boats more than makes up for it, though ;-)
