26 | Savinho - 2025/26

Just don’t see it with him week in week out. He does have ability but his decision making is poor as is his end product. Could do with a loan as we’ve got enough to play on the right this season.

He was good in the first half, created multiple chances, turned to shite for the rest of the game like most of his teammates.

Savinho might be the least impactful player we’ve had in the Pep era - at least the one who plays a decent number of games.

Is it just me who finds watching him just a bit…boring? For somebody who has the ball so often, he has shocking output.

At least Doku beats a man, gets you on the edge of your seat - Savinho does neither.

Think he has the ability, but I'm not sure he has the heart?

Squad spaces at a premium, so I don't think it would be a disaster if he left. Could come good in a few years though, he does have ability.

I try not to, but if your comparing say savinho or Doku to our previous wingers I don’t think there anywhere near as good. Mahrez, sane, sterling or even palmer - I don’t think there as talented and as it stands won’t reach the same level

Him and Doku wide just doesnt work whatsoever.
He's just not at the level, in any respect.

We aren't a good enough team anymore to have the luxury of waiting to see if players come good.

Sell him, and if he does turn into a player…well never mind. We all move on.

Doku we keep as a 15 min cameo..its frightening he's going to be a our regular winger. Zero consistency.

Might as well have stuck a traffic cone out there last night for all the difference he made
If he’s our first choice right winger again this season then we’re not challenging for anything. Not good enough to be anything other than an occasional sub and squad filler at this moment in time

He will never be good enough for a full season. Glimpses here and there but that’s not enough at this level. He needs to toughen up and becone more consistent. He is not a starter for me.

Biggest issue with Savinho is often losing possession and then the entire right side becomes vulnerable to counters. Perhaps why we need a stronger fullback there. He also has too many moments in a game where he disappears. When we were on top he had a very easy chance to make it 2-0 and tried to blast it instead of chipping the advancing keeper - you have Cherki on from the start and we would have been out of sight - they then became confident at just 1 down - that was a common theme last season. We have to punish teams when on top and we didn't so we are on the way home.

Cherki and Foden added so much but for me I think going forward we can only go into games with one out and out winger and at the moment Doku is the best option.
