Taking the money in one hand while slagging it off,if you were the bosses at Dazn or Ch5 you’d be getting on the blower to them and asking what the fuck..
Precisely! It’s f’kin hilarious really!Talksport are pissing down the back of their leg!Somebody else has to notice this,..you would think?!

Interesting and possibly a worrying lead story about the Sheikh

Taken from a story in the NY Times by Declan Walsh and Tariq Panja, no doubt both rag cunts! The story is really about City, even though it took several paragraphs to bring the club into it. Judging by the way this is written, I'm not inclined to take any of their other allegations seriously:

And now, Sheikh Mansour’s sporting jewel is under siege.
A British panel is considering sweeping accusations that Manchester City has cheated on a grand scale. His team has been accused by its own league of manipulating its finances to fund the purchase of star players who assured the club’s stunning run of victories, transforming it from a group of stumbling has-beens into an international sporting phenomenon.
Manchester City denies the accusations, but if found guilty, the team could be fined, expelled or stripped of its many titles. It is also a moment of reckoning for Sheikh Mansour, whose dealings are now under the kind of spotlight he has long sought to avoid.

Given their serious journalistic credentials(!), why am I not surprised that they haven't bothered to take a serious look into the veracity of the allegations made by the PL and its red cartel?

I’m not sure who is paying talksport for these promotional ads for the CWC?Be it C5,DAZN,or whoever,..I really think they need to have a word! They’re paying good money,to have these ads run on a radio station, yet all the presenters of said radio station, cannot manage a positive word about the competition between them!?WTAF?!I’d be looking for a serious discount, after some of the shit that’s been spoken on air…I seriously would!
Should buying advertising time on a radio station give you input into that stations policy?

We going to win this investigation so they setting a new narrative for the media to report constantly to harm us don’t forget how Americans do business dirty as they come them lot !
Next it will be UAE support Iran and a campaign urging arsenal fan Starmer to do what they did to Chelsea. Without researching were now an independent company business wise and he can't do jack shit.

Probably not, but it is still a contradiction that is getting aired daily, and if I were in charge of those purse strings,I would be looking at some kind of clause insert…,or I would take my money and my advert elsewhere.

In principle, for sure No. But in reality, l would think these kind of calls do happen.

I’m not sure how all the output on air can be negative anyway - they’ve plenty of hours to fill, and they are running commentaries on the matches aren’t they? I’m sure there’s some positivity too.

I can’t and don’t want to listen all day,so can’t be certain, but I’ve heard nothing positive whatsoever,on the drive to work.Stelling came out with a corker the other day,..’I’m not really interested but I am when a South American team gets to take on a European giant‘!? I mean,do they ever listen to themselves?Thick as fuck..

The New York Times, enough said. Owner of The Pathetic, the home of Panja and Red Rory, and a long time enemy of the club
The Mill does some good stuff tbf but its in built biases also run right through their content
Literally set up by a southern former student rag and has previously published a number of fawning articles about FC tribute act and united fans. While never missing the chance to stick the boot in on City and our owners
The founder left a previous job in the states under a cloud over allegations of predatory sexual behaviours- while unironically continuing to accuse others of similar conduct
Long read but pretty grim
I've recently subscribed to The Mill, despite my unease about their earlier stories on Abu Dhabi's relationship with the council. I went to a social they hosted a few weeks ago, which was interesting and entertaining. But they're currently running a story about Sammy Shonn, the guy who owns Sammy's Bar, being a sexual predator. The fucking irony.

That's my subscription cancelled.

Wrexham did it.
Many presenters were happy to stick the boot in about them and them buying there way up the leagues.

They paid for a weekly segment on the show and as an example Andy Jacobs went from saying how uninterested he is in them to how great a story it is for such a historic club (paraphrasing).

And they’re currently running a similar story about the person who runs a social media ‘friendship group’

The CWC is a joke. It's a completely needless set of extra games shoved into an already shrinking summer gap designed purely to force competitve games with elite European teams into the American market with no regard for player welfare.
True, although it isn't every year as it was before so nobody has to go off mid season to play in it. As we have seen football is all about finances now and being in this tournament is financially worthwhile, no matter what we think about it
