Expecting a slight improvement over last season, can’t get any worse……can they?
Our 1983 team would still give 'em a game.I think they are in real trouble. At the moment their creaking squad is one year older and they have not made any strong signings. Unless something changes I am sure they will be in a relegation battle again. As long-standing City fans who have seen it all we should not be surprised. We went down in 1983 with a better team than they have got now.
Sadly, it can't get any worse for them than last year so this year will unfortunately be an improvement. I think the players they're linked with are solid players who will elevate them into midtable mediocrity. Nothing for us to be concerned with but never good to see them improve.
I'll settle for anywhere outside of any European spots. Hopefully a few more expensive flops and a very expensive managerial change or two.

New season, new thread.
Same old shite
You have to bear in mind that they are effectively a 'protected species,' in that certain highly contentious decisions WILL go their way - as ever. Don't forget this is a club who have profited immensely over the Munich tragedy, because they are by their very nature immoral, and both the Glazers and Worzel would rob their own grandmothers for an extra £10. So if there is any way, legal or otherwise, they can remain in the Prem, you can bet your life they are already working on it.I think they are in real trouble. Finishing 15th or 17th makes no difference, only way it can get worse is if they go down and there's next to zero chance of that happening. The three teams that have come up may aswell be Sunday league sides compared to any existing premier league side. They finished 15th. Of course it can get worse

They will surely do better this season than last, especially given they won't even be taking part in the Thursday night cups, I've set myself up for them finishing in the top half.
The priority for me where these dogs are concerned, is winning BOTH derbies.
Scum.
With this logic it assumes winning the Europa league is at the expense of finishing higher in the league. They will surely do better this season than last, especially given they won't even be taking part in the Thursday night cups, I've set myself up for them finishing in the top half.

I saw the odds on Skybet showing us as the same price as the rags for relegation, 18/1Might be worth a bet on Rags being relegated.
For the brave, a double with City winning the title.
And they’re all in their 60s or 70s.Our 1983 team would still give 'em a game.
