Oasis reunion

Looked quality from the few videos online.. me and the Mrs had tickets for Heaton Park 19th July but she's due to pop on the 25th so reluctantly had to shift the tickets!

Honestly, if they banned phones at their concerts(which obviously I know they won’t), it would make them so much better, I think just concerts in general. Was at Oasis 30 years ago, and it was fucking unbelievable, no phones just pure Oasis. They obviously won’t and I think it’s probably not the best idea. People need their phones for more than just videoing the show but if there wasn’t any phones, god it would actually be like the 90s again!!!

Just seen a clip from a Cardiff news site. Literally every single person is watching it through their phone. Not one for live music really but what the fuck is all that about? Just enjoy the show!

Morons who've never been to a gig. I'm convinced a lot of people who are fortunate to have tickets know fuck all about the band and are going purely to obtain social media likes. Sad bastards. Won't be as good as when they were in their prime and the experience was more organic.

I get this some of this view

I have seen them 6 times in total.

GMEX was the best in my opinion, followed by Maine Road as that one for me was a time when I knew my real lad days were coming to an end.

I went to that MR concert with my pregnant wife, having our first. Just bought a house and City were relegated a week or so later.

Not got tickets for this one as when they went on sale I was on a coach going to see City so accepted it

My daughter and lad have managed to get one, they are excited as fuck and I am for them but not the same for me.

94 to 98 were the real good years

Big events happened for me alongside the albums they released and it all felt connected

Bit sappy but so what

I thought GMEX was crap and it marked the beginning of their downfall, for me. It might have been down to the beer having a horrific aftertaste to it.
Just highlights how we all have different experiences at exactly the same gig. Most of the time it has nothing to do with the band and how they perform.

Of the few clips I've seen online, the crowd looked utterly abysmal. Nothing but a sea of phones with people more excited to capture something for social media than actually being there. Thats got to destroy all atmosphere.

Surprised nobody didnt tell them to put them away and experience it first hand.
It makes me seeth that people like this are lucky enough to get tickets but fucking abuse the gig for their own fantasy land thinking and self centred cuntishness. I’m very fortunate to have seen them at Maine Road and at the Ethiad (not what it was called back then) when they were in there pomp. I feel sorry for my 2 daughters who like me couldn’t get tickets and I was talking with my youngest who’s 17 and she was fucking fuming last night because of people streaming it and not knowing the words to the songs. My eldest girls fella is going to heaton park and he only started listening to them after he’d got tickets the fucking Johnny come lately!!!

True. I was pissed so maybe that affected my judgement.

It is frustrating. I'm sure they'll do a few more gigs once this run is over though, so your daughters should get a chance.
