Oasis reunion

It feels like an appropriate time to re-release this…. A few years back I interviewed Noel Gallagher. You can listen to it for free here:

The interview was a hour long and was the week before our first CL final.

Shame Heaton Park isn’t. I hope the rumour of them doing 10 nights at the Etihad next summer is true.
68,000 fans a night at Heaton Park though .... 340,000 tickets already been sold for the five nights at that place ..... no indoor arena in the NW could have matched that, Co-op Live holds about 24,000 .... ..... Old Trafford football ground could have done but I doubt Oasis would want to play there.

The Etihad will undoubtedly come into consideration once the new North Stand extension is opened ....... maybe 62,000 in the seats, and another 8,000 stood on the pitch ... and Oasis will WANT to play at City, just as they have in the past.

It would depend on the set up. The seats at one end could be blocked off.
I am amazed at their enduring world wide popularity. 10 million people attempted to buy tickets.

People these days have to be critics over everything, it absolutely does my head in… the crowd weren’t wild enough, everyone had their phones out, they don’t deserve to be there… I bet everyone who was there loved it regardless and you wouldn’t have been able to pick up properly on the atmosphere from a live stream. Luckily the band sounded great or the cynics would have been queued up to gleefully slag them off. It will probably happen next weekend though because of the venue and sound there. Phones aren’t going anywhere though, it’s just life today I’m afraid, people will want to show off and get the best video to say “I witnessed this”

Yep, they have never really lost their popularity ..... fans from all parts of the world were 'milling' around Cardiff yesterday waiting for that gig to start..... the Gallagher brothers have remained in the news practically on a daily basis ever since they went their separate ways, they just seem to attract the media, and the fans have always been there, just praying that a night like last night would eventually happen ...... there will have been so many people left disappointed when all the gig tickets sold out.

full gig, shit view and this will probably get taken down but its here for now if anyone wants to watch, i think they sound great btw

Morons who've never been to a gig. I'm convinced a lot of people who are fortunate to have tickets know fuck all about the band and are going purely to obtain social media likes. Sad bastards. Won't be as good as when they were in their prime and the experience was more organic.

It’s the same for all gigs, was at stereophonics last night, most people standing filming it, fuckin infuriating.

We hate it when our friends become successful
