Have stopped following the tourney but pleased to hear Madrid getting creamed.Damn that PSG team is good.
Always disliked them for trying buy galacticos. But things really changed last year.
Really enjoy how they play and how they are coached.

PSG are just unreal these days. Look completely unbeatable just about. Thought they'd blown the chance for the 4th goal but very clever finish by Ramos.
Yeah I had to take break as well ,started watching again today.Have stopped following the tourney but pleased to hear Madrid getting creamed.

Yes they do and at the moment are. Yet easy to forget where they were just 7 months ago, before the last couple of games of the CL league stage they were below us and in danger of going out, finished with 4 wins and a draw just 2 points better than us. We were. We did exactly this to the same team — Real Madrid — in a competition that counted much more than this one. Now it's their turn. I respect what Enrique's done. I didn't think it could be done in France, where the league is so weak that it doesn't normally keep teams on their mettle.
On another note, it is such a fine thing to see Real get a good spanking. I loathe them, in fact. The rags of Europe. People are told to love them — and like obedient robots, they do. Just look at all the plastics in that stadium. Hate them!

Psg look very good. What they have is fluid movement, the attack is always moving opening up lanes for the pass - something we were actually good at doing and hopefully get back to doing
Movement off the ball is the way to breaking a defensive line down

Just think we were 2-0 in Paris not long ago after Grealish and Haaland scored I was sat in the stands thinking nice journey home then they turned it on, only consolation they beat the bus wrecking media loving cunts

Alvarez and Mahrez were crucial for the way we played that season.They play a really good brand of football, good on the ball but attack with pace that is a rarity for us, right now they are the best team in the World no doubt about it.

The first half an hour before PSG took their foot off the pedal was incredible. Dembele is getting a lot of credit but there are 8-9 players who are playing at such an incredible level, possibly 11. I think they are the best side I have ever seen even if they've only been at this level for about 6 months. They are young too.
How are teams going to respond to this? There's no new tactics, it's selfless effort combined with hugely talented players. It was surprised that no one else went for Kvaratskhelia earlier.
In the past when good sides have emerged, other sides have taken their players, but that seems unlikely.
There were about 400 PSG fans behind the goal in a stadium where about 50,000 of the remaining 77,000 were wearing the white shirts of Real Madrid. I hope that for the final game the stadium is full.
I can imagine that Chelsea might make the final difficult for PSG as they could play a low block and counter-attack with Netto and Pedro. I don't want Chelsea to win. The last thing we need is a new emerging team in the Premier League. I think Chelsea still have quite a few weaknesses e.g., the keeper and centre-backs so I don't think that will happen. Their midfield and forwards have looked strong at this tournament.
It does not matter what the hostility is from the British football media, or some rival fans, this competition is going to grow and it has been a huge success. I think should increase the numbers of clubs in this tournament. Possibly the Oceania and Asia teams should have a play-off because the quality of the Oceania team was very weak. I don't think it is helpful to them to lose 10-0.
I hope City are in it in 4 years time. I hope FIFA takes the tournament to China or India because I would like to see huge crowds and stadia, and passion for football. The Americans didn't turn out for the early games apart from the Real Madrid fans. I am happy that football won, and I hope PSG win this with another footballing masterclass. The European clubs came to the fore at the end but we saw something different from the South American clubs and the development of the game in Egypt and Morroco. A good Al-Hilal side was inevitable given the money they have spent. City will regret that we didn't beat Al-Hilal but let's face it our defence is appalling. We just don't have top quality defenders at centre back and in defensive midfield. Rodri's comeback will hopefully address that. But a new central defender is required imo. Dias and Gvardiol are slow. It's only against highly committed top clas players that you see your strengths and weaknesses.
