PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

I’ve gone from being really worried about this case to almost past caring.

My overriding feeling is annoyance that it’s gone on for so long and no one gives a toss about what we City fans think.

No one in the media (Samuel aside) sticks up for us so we are left to stew in silence. In the dark about our future

If this was the red lot there would be media campaigns and questions asked in parliament about the fans welfare.

Increasingly I am irritated with our owners. Their lack of communication whilst this drags on and on really grates.

Yes I know it’s an anti competitive tactic to stop us and it’s a legal matter etc etc.

But this nonsense goes on and on.Do our owners ever see a time when it stops? It’s ridiculous.
What annoys me the most is that the PL (clearly driven by the cartel IMO) have been going after us for years for claims that we have done things that are utterly trivial compared to what we have seen some clubs get away with recently. There is clearly a biased agenda

No it isn’t. He makes sensible contributions to the thread. He’s not the one with the outlandish theories.
You are welcome to your opinion - I would like to think that I am allowed mine

Anyway, since I posted that things seemed to have quietened down - so logically there will not be further such vitriol (it is possible to disagree with someone without giving the levels of abuse seen in some posts)

If City have known the out come for months and City are innocent.
Why hold back for months to help the pl ?
Us fans have had to deal with abuse in our daily lives for fucking years now.

At one stage around the CAS hearing it was affecting me really badly, along with over events in my life.

Thankfully I'm out of that dark place now.

But us fans seem to be forgotten about, the shit we deal with in our daily lives. Be that at work, the pub, evenings out, weekly shop at Tesco !.

If City have known for months I wish City had put us fans first and told the pl to do one. PL made this mess with pressure from the red cartel City owe the pl nothing.

As it is we are all getting frustrated and fed up with this. I have developed a thick skin know and as I said early I have 3 go to answers now.

you know when there is a game on telly and its of no consequence to city, you think ill watch that because i'm not bothered who wins, just want a good game, then something is said or seen and you start wanting one team to win,

im not bothered about slbn or PB they both know a hell of a lot more than i do about this 115/130/5 whatever ,but i've just decided im supporting PB, i know slbn has the contacts in the legal world, but would those contact give the inside knowledge to someone on talksport, imagine his standing on talksport/the media world if he broke the news,

so come on PB give us a goal :)

Totally agree.

But we don’t need to worry. If we are ever cleared of this nonsense a new charge will no doubt be brought in.

And us City fans can then spend 2-3 more years knowing nothing about our fate whilst being vilified by clowns in the media.

Because that’s totally normal.

Over a month since Khaldoon told us the official ruling hadn't been passed down so after such another lengthy delay and since both parties have to agree on a publication date maybe we decided it would be better for us too after the CWC - we might still have been in it!

I share some of the outlandish claims. The ongoing case isn’t just about football—it’s a glimpse into how influence operates behind the scenes. The idea that diplomatic channels may have quietly reassured Sheikh Mansour isn’t far-fetched. When you consider the scale of legal firepower, the deliberate secrecy of the hearings, and the complete absence of leaks, it’s clear we’re dealing with a level of discretion that goes well beyond standard regulatory practice. This isn’t about conspiracy—it’s about recognising patterns that repeat when powerful interests are involved.

I want (and think) that they are both right now that that 'positions have been clarified'

Slbn (IMO) is surely right in the factual things that he says a) about the process and b) about the status of the decision being shared. I think that he is a clearly factual person that added a lot of value to the understanding of posters on this thread.

PB is also right I think right - now that he has clarified that his contact being "...pretty certain of the outcome, rather than they know it for sure."

With that clarification both Slbn and PB positions can be both right and we can have confidence that the senior MCFC people are very confident of the outcome when it is released.

Whether their confidence comes from (likely) briefings by their legal representatives of how things went and their view of how things were received, rather than people 'knowing' (unlikely) some details of the decision/outcome.

Anyway - it would be nice that we can now consider both views to be complementary to each other - and take some confidence from that

A tiny part of me hopes we have broken the “rules” and “get away with it”.

The accusations against us won’t stop so it would be kind of evil in a way. The foaming at the mouthers would be foaming all day everyday.

It’s not normal is it? -:)

On the PB/Slbn issue…well I don’t really care. As of today we still don’t know and as of today my gut feeling/common sense is shouting that khaldoon and pep know, he is at oasis, not a care in the world ffs.

Read the room. We ain’t getting done. It’s that simple.

So is it still 9am Monday?

Once cleared we should have an oasis stadium gig. Get a few new songs to incorporate the 115, fuck masters, death to the cabal etc..

Merch would be available. Some nice 50/50 scarfs with 115/fuck the red cunts.

Or maybe a nice quiet reading of all the charges and how they failed to touch the blue machine?

All ideas welcome…
