My bad. Thank you. It's a Dukes ball in this series. They brought the Kookaburra into County cricket but its still a Dukes for the Tests in England.
I thought I’d slipped into an old match day thread reading your posts hahaGreat spell by stokes now we have Carse who bowls a different ball every ball absolutely amateur bowling! Stokes root keep it tight and Carse bowls up this shite! Maybe they’ll sack the useless sack of shit off
Seriously? I didn’t know that. So any young English player coming into the test side would have to get used to a different ball? It's a Dukes ball in this series. They brought the Kookaburra into County cricket but its still a Dukes for the Tests in England.

P.s. you’re mainly right though ;)

Did well today and fronted up for sure. Good callI get the feeling Duckett would wipe the fucking floor with him, he looks like he can handle himself.
If we can hold out until lunch on monday (big if!), declare and set them a target around 400.
Thanks for posting that. Insightful post for everyone. It's a bit more complicated.
England and the West Indies use the Duke's ball. Almost everywhere else uses the Kookaburra.
The Duke's is harder and has a more pronounced seam; the Kookaburra goes soft more quickly and the seam tends to be flattened more quickly.
The English cricket board decided to try the Kookaburra for 2 rounds of the championship so there is at least some familiarity for players. What happened was batsmen racked up ridiculous scores in a lot of matches, and they played out high-scoring draws.
A former Aussie coach said that they'd tried the Duke's in Australia, and on the harder pitches they have, the game ended very quickly because it moved so much.
How is Cornwall? So that means we be about 64/4 at lunch tomorrow
How is Cornwall?
Can someone tell me if that’s missing the wicket (NOT umpires call) how they keep the review?
Crawley ain’t lasting long
