I agree, but if he doesn’t reappear this season Palmer will rightly be regarded as the better player. Some players peak incredibly young in the modern game, hope that is not the
Case with our Phil. One season can be forgiven and seen as a blip, two seasons in your prime is a different thing all together though. He needs a big season otherwise he could fade into nothingness.

Maresca has most likely dumped the knock off Pep act and has reverted to what Chelsea has always been known for, counter-attacking football. All that's left for Maresca now is that Turkey hair procedure and voila, he's his own man.
