We need debruyne more than silva. We have silva and cherki for that silva role.
We need someone with that passing ability ( even when the ball is moving), creativity and goal scoring ability of debruyne.

Yes we can say that but bobb was really unlucky last year. Last season was supposed to be his year but he got that injury and he was literally out for the season. Mcatee got the chance as well but never made it. and yes Palmer was a real miss.
This year we have too many players so i don't think any academy player will get a chance to show themselves in the first team. Simpson pussy may be the unlucky one as well.
Something unlucky is happening every year for the academy lads. Or may be our youths are not as good as La Masia lads.

i think Cherki can do KdB role, he has a good passing and creative ability

let him gel with the team and Prem

I’m not sure Pep sees Cherki as a starter yet unfortunately and I’m not sure how happy Cherki will be with that situation

Think it'might be more Cherki and Foden in combination ,I expect a lot of interchanging between them in the 10 and right side with Marmoush on the left behind Haaland.
 
If Branthwaite could get over his injury issues, with Stones leaving next season, would it be worth getting him in as a stones replacement? Still young looks to have potential only 23.

Pep will try to play both, and not rotate.

Atleast I hope he does.

He has to find a way to play our best players in 1 system, and Foden's future as an 8 perfectly coincides here.

Cherki is like the new KdB.

But Foden is also like the new Gundogan.

That Cherki -> Foden goal was literally something we saw between KdB -> Gundogan.

Good take imo

Here are my reasons for the question you asked
1. Our academy is for making money. The club doesn't promise them a path way into the first team imo, they promise them a good career be it here or most likely elsewhere.
2. Unproven talent we buy play against grown men, our academy plays against other kids.
3. It's the same reason why we bought Cherki and are selling McAtee. They're almost the same age. The reason isn't too complicated, other players are simply better than our academy players.
4. Pep doesn't like players under 30. I'm joking but he trusts the ones He's won trophies with more than the kids. He admirers their hunger and energy but thats it. He will never rely on them in a serious game
5. some say kids need alot of playing time to develop and in doing so, you can't still expect to rack up trophies due to their experience and lack of consistency.

Agreed he has to try and get both in but the only way I see that is with 2 defensive fullbacks or at least 1 foden marmoush and halland have to play as they guarantee goals and cherki will be key provider for me maybe something along these lines.

It's quiet in work so we all had a chat about football, Villa, Wolves, Liverpool, Arsenal, Newcastle fans and me.
The general consensus from them all is that our squad depth is shit compared to what it used to be and that our transfer business lately is shockingly bad ha.
Not one of them thinks we'll win the title next season
 
Bayern have a 100 million hole burning in their pocket after every winger rejection and Wirtz going to Liverpool that they are deciding to spend atleast 70 million on Diaz who is 29 in a month.

That would be exceptional business for Liverpool and may open the bid for Isak.

Don’t we have any players we can offload to the German rags?
