As long as the roof keeps most of the fans dry, any wonkiness is Ok with me. Main thing is it’s going to look awesome when complete.
I'm going to place a bet on Brighton at home on the 7th of January. What’s the first home game likely to be with the new increased capacity? Can’t wait to see 62000 in there. Be the biggest City following since the Wigan cup final.

Can snakes lurk?Very surprised the lurking media haven’t mentioned anything about it yet.
Any of them got a sledgie around the centre beams?Lots of activity around the roof

Cheers mate.It would appear the left central beam is slightly higher than it should be.
Cheers mate. The central bay, where the red/orange lines are added. In theory it shoud appear level as per the red, but appears to dip as per the orange. The two beams should align, and the bay between them appear flat, but the west (left in the picture) one looks higher than the east (right in the picture).
Now worth stressing, the lines only apply as strictly if the drone is truly level. And truly central. Which I'm not convinced it is. But, amongst the various attempts, images and seeing the railing dip off the ground, there is enough there to appear that it is indeed lop-sided (for now).
You will probably get a better feel in person.

Actually, that reminds me, meant to point this out before.Lots of activity around the roof
Yes - I think someone mentioned that the 2 roofs aren't physically connected as they need to be able to flex separately as the old one is suspended from the original cablenet and the new one is suspended from the quadpods.Actually, that reminds me, meant to point this out before.
The facade clading up the kink in the side of the roof has columns that meet the new stand and eventually come to ground in some way. But beyind the kink, above the old roof, the whole thing seems to be susepended off the new roof beam, including the cladding supports. Might not actually touch the old roof, at least not with meaningful supports which would all effectively float above it, hanging off the new roof.
As it looks so far at least.
Yeah the roofs won't be, I was more talking about the vertical walls/sides. Everything from the kink onwards is suspended dpwnwards off the new roof, rather than built upwards conventionally, if that makes sense.Yes - I think someone mentioned that the 2 roofs aren't physically connected as they need to be able to flex separately as the old one is suspended from the original cablenet and the new one is suspended from the quadpods.
There's nothing to report. I don't think people in general will be interested that the central span is 2 degrees off the horizontal when the build hasn't been cVery surprised the lurking media haven’t mentioned anything about it yet.
