I am a blue, it's pretty evident on city threads, how much I get involved in chats about the club and players.

What's wrong with calling someone by their real title?

People flex on here, as if it makes you a better city fan if you project how much you hate other clubs as much as possible, like how kids act.

People call me a rag or dipper because I called a man by his real title or because I said Anfield has the best atmosphere in the league, which is backed up by pretty much everyone including Pep.

That's all I've ever said, and suddenly I'm not a city fan haha.

I can't stand the dippers actually, but I think our home atmosphere in general is lacking compared to theirs, especially when the kop is rocking.

As for the rags, I dislike them by default but they're kind of irrelevant to us these days, so I have very little emotion towards them except being amused at their current level. They're not worth hating that much.
Because on this thread that isn't his real title.

The bloke was a piss head bully who liked to throw his weight around and let everyone know he was the governor.

He got too big for his piss stained boots and watched his power slowly slip away when Sheikh Mansour took over God's own football club.

These days he's reduced to sitting in the executive seats at the swamp with a gormless look on his face trying to process what the fuck is going on.

So by all means refer to him as the pisscan, bacon face or even slur Alex if you must. But as far as most City fans are concerned, he's known as a bit of a knob in these parts.

I'll never forget that banner at the swamp and the pisscan's famous last words: "not in my lifetime"

Oh! how I laughed.

Anyone seen that stat? For 80 years, they've had at least one player in every single match day squad that started out there.

Obviously in the early days players were often local anyway, so that's hardly a surprise. We know Sir Alex always liked bringing young players through but I'm actually more surprised it's continued since they've been shite and loaded the squad up with mediocre foreign players.

Still, every game in 80 years, that's some stat.
We don’t call him SIR Alex on here. Didn’t you know that???

Because the man is a **** and his 'knighthood' was a fucking farce.

Where is Pep's knighthood for achieving the exact same accolade or his services to English Football, making our league the envy of the world again for the last ten years?

Giving respect to his 'title' is giving the man himself respect. He had none for us, I have none for him. He's Slur Alex, GPC, or Rag ****. I'm not sure what brownie points you're trying to achieve giving these people your 'respect', when they think you and your fellow fanbase are cheats for supporting City. I find it even more bizarre that you'd criticise other Blues for not calling Slur Alex by his 'title'.

Fuck the man!

SCUM!
I enjoyed reading that.

Thank you!

And your final crescendo was lovely.

"Home grow" is as vague as it gets, they claim it helps local English players to come through but the qualification for home grown is so thin it's almost transparent.

You don't even have to be born in your own country to play for the national team and even if you are born in the country you play for you get people from other countries whinging about you not playing for them even though you weren't born there.
I prefer the stat,

Rags have had 1 home grown fan (local), at every game :-)

Pep can't be the recipient of a title under the honours system, as he is not a citizen of the Commonwealth.

Hats off to Brentford, they knew the desperate twats wouldn't walk away.
PL need to investigate the rags' finances - how have they managed to find so much money for transfers whilst (according to scruffy) they are broke. Wont hold my breath though

Neither was Steven Spielberg and he had one.

Pep might not be able to use it, but he should have been given the honour publicly.

There really should be a limit on monies owed to other teams before future buying, not just for the rags but for all clubs.

If a team go pop the cash owed to lesser sides could also bring them down too.
I agree and just cant understand how other clubs continue to allow the rags to buy their players on shit terms knowing they still owe others so much

Because the selling team knows they will over pay in their desperation to get a deal over the line. Might take longer to get it but they will get more money in the long run.

70 million for Brian Mbuemo. Fucking hell, talk about inflating the market paying that for mid tier level footballers.

I’ve read somewhere or rather a few places, that they’ve launched a go fund me page for this? That can’t honestly be serious..
