That's certainly on the list.Well if you will be in Cleveland, a visit to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame must be on the cards surely, PB?
They're usually quite taciturn and one made me put all of the 4 packs of 6 Mr Kipling Cherry Bakewells I'd bought for my son through the scanner. But we got a really chatty one at JFK one time who we had a real good laugh with. The problem was we were tight for time for our connecting flight but we just made it in time.Definitely not, you're advised not to make small talk or be flippant with police and security so I keep chat to the minimum. The arse hole at Vegas was the worse one but none of the others were friendly, just doing their job I suppose but had better experiences elsewhere especially the Far East and Eastern Europe.
There’s loads of anecdotes on the internet about the severe attitude of US immigration officers towards visitors.
I’m partial to a Cherry Bakewell myself, as a treat with a nice brew, lovely. They're usually quite taciturn and one made me put all of the 4 packs of 6 Mr Kipling Cherry Bakewells I'd bought for my son through the scanner. Pittsburgh is simply fantastic. People who've never been think it's the US equivalent of somewhere like Middlesbrough but there's no steel mills anymore so no permanent smoke or smog and there's a great food and drink scene and plenty to do.As a yank I can say I would be a trifle worried as a non-white person with a funny name from a dodgy country at immigration, but otherwise things here for tourists are fine. Plus the dollar is down the tubes. I can understand the boycotts (especially by Canadians) — your money; spend it as you like. I’ve visited 47 states and each of the largest 50 metros by population save two (Cincinnati and Norfolk/Virginia Beach) so feel free to ask. IMO most underrated city is Pittsburgh, and most overrated is Orlando.
You wont see a single gun at Disney mate, well apart from the toy ones lol.
There are some beautiful little towns along the gulf coast, but of a hidden secretThink I drove through a forest fire there
Been to Salem a few times at Halloween. Great time but the crowds are huge. Loads of people walking around in all sorts of costumes. If you want a good pub; try O' Neills right in the square. Some of the best Guinness that I have had over here; plus the owner is an old friend and neighbour of mine. Food's good too. Enjoy!Been a few times. Heading there again in October, 10 days in LA, driving to vegas and staying for 2 days then got 5 days in Boston/Salem for Halloween. Gonna head to NYC for a day whilst there as it’s only an hour flight and I do like NYC.
Can’t wait.

Got pulled over of Chips once. He was a right twat. They're usually quite taciturn and one made me put all of the 4 packs of 6 Mr Kipling Cherry Bakewells I'd bought for my son through the scanner. It’s beautiful especially in the fall and spring. Arguably the best sports town in America if you don’t care about basketball. Great universities. Super friendly people. And incredibly cheap relative to most major metros, especially housing.Pittsburgh is simply fantastic. New Orleans is at it's maddest around Fat Tuesday. Not sure what it's like at Halloween. Boy is it a fun city to visit though...Cheers pal. I know it’s tourist hell (myself included) but only plan on going once in my life and if you going there it might was we’ll be at Halloween.
Really want to try Halloween in New Orleans at some point but suspect that even more crazy than Salem.
Is that like happy hour but for the whole day?New Orleans is at it's maddest around Fat Tuesday. Not sure what it's like at Halloween. Boy is it a fun city to visit though...
