I was of the belief that they were skint ( even ratcliffe said we could have gone bust by Xmas ) Many well respected financial people on here agreed and said they will have to sell to buy .
We were also told they owe 300m on previous transfers of which 150m has to be paid this summer and yet they are still splashing the cash !
I know a lot of it is on the never never but how long can they keep doing this ?
City business plan uses profits to invest whereas United use borrowed money to get investment money.
Nothing wrong with their plan as long as their income can support the interest ie borrowing cost.

The staff that haven’t been sacked will be taking on more workload from their departed colleagues, so operationally they will sink further as a club. There was an article on here the other day highlighting how they are now binning off lots of youth players they paid decent fees for for nothing. This play of sacking everyone and reducing the wage bill so they have extra bandwidth to spend on the first team, it’s short term in its thought plan and shows how desperate they are for things to improve on the pitch.

If these players don’t work where do they go? Can anyone see an uptick on last year to get them near the top four when there’s lots of better teams in front of them? I can’t.

How can a club 1billion in debt afford to to spunk around 127m on 2 players? And looking to spend another 80 if rumours are true? Genuine question
Because they generate cash but this is a massive gamble if it doesnt work they are fucked Other clubs will know they are desperate to get rid of the Trafford 5 so hopefully they will screw them over

When it comes to compliance, PSR, they have exploited a loop-hole using the first direct ownership company

But they are still planning their £3B ( probably will cost £5B ) circus tent

They haven’t got the money for it, looks like they want the season ticket holders to finance it by paying upfront for 15 year season tickets. They are doomed.

Mbeumo 'proven quality'

Headline must have been on the BBC website for over a week now. Slyman is really trying to convince people that this is true. You know the unbiased BBC??

Assuming they have 50k season ticket holders thats 60k upfront sounds like a feasible model Not!

40 percent of the ground is going to be hospitality as well, so I imagine they will have a plan to sell long term vip seats and boxes to big business. How do they hope to reach a 100,000 capacity with so much hospitality taking over the ground?

Get ready for the obligatory " I've signed for the biggest Club in the world "
He supported Man Utd as a kid. He was there that 'glorious night in Barcelona'.

That'll be next!

Just need the likes of Brentford, Bournemouth, Forest , palace etc to keep above these verminous filth

So that’s them back now with the 2 forward signings ..the giddiness will be off the scale and that’ll be only the media,if the rags get off to a good start they might do reasonably well push for an outside chance of Europe,if they start bad they could be in a world of pain..

Let's hope the spirits of Hunter and Bremner turn up this afternoon.

Joey Barton Pffft.
